Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA works as well as any power strip I've used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. +My cockatiels life! Would you mind giving a brief review of what you think about it? I'm just debating on whether I should get an iPad Mini 4 or iPad Pro 9.7in......I think I'm considering the latter but I'd still love to hear your opinion :)
Yeah, an iPad is far from a replacement of a fully-fledged PC. I mean, it's barely even comparable to mid ranged laptops, let alone a high-end desktop PC. And as you point out, it doesn't even support XCode, so any app-developers can't use it as a primary device, not to mention most non-apple developers. If I were to buy a tablet, I'd get something that can run the programs I need, like Visual Studio and Eclipse.
Spec wise it's more than comparable to a mid-range laptop. The processor is equivalent to the Intel Core i5 in the MacBook Air line and the graphics are BETTER than the Intel Iris Pro found in the MacBook Pro line.
+Yoni Ben-Oni Actually, nowhere near. It's near a 4 year old Haswell i3, or the current fanless m3, or equal to the intel atom. The 2 artificial benchmarks used by these sites are heavily weighted towards certain things. Benchmarks mean nothing, but all but a couple show the iPad "Pro" being crushed. ARM gives extremely good battery life though, and it's a VERY good ARM processor to be near the class of a bottom end x86. The core i5 absolutely demolishes it. I won't link you, but research it if you want. Anandtech have a very good benchmarking suite. Also, the software side is so pathetic as to be unusable for anybody who wants to do anything. No USB, no FILE MANAGER, can't program, can't plug in and charge all your other devices, can't get lots of things on the display at once, can't use a mouse, no keyboard shortcuts, and the keyboard doesn't even come in UK layout!
+AHappyFace sure you will if you do productivity and want to used the iPad pro for work if you do video/photography you can have the films to show your clients etc
It is a good replacement for a Laptop, let me tell you how useful it is: - You don't have to wait for slow startups, just press the home button and you're on your way. - Laptops are just not light enough - iPads open applications way faster than Laptops - Try taking a panorama with an iPad. You'll be blown away. - You can browse the net with 3G/4G. - If you cant pay for MacBook and still want an Apple product, this is a good option. I can go on, but these are the most important points.
*OBVIOUSLY* the smaller iPad Pro will be underclocked. Had they gone with the exact same CPUs, the smaller iPad Pro would've overheated due to the heat being produced by the faster clock speeds and it not being able to be spread around the large surface are like the with the larger iPad Pro.
Huge fan of Apple's products, culture and philosophy and just wanted to thank you for your unbiased, informative and well produced videos. Keep up the incredible work!
Just bought this as a second screen in 2024 for $150. Still good battery and does what I need it to do. Light and easy to use, a bit laggy but still good
It all depends. If someone just uses their computer to browse the Internet and do stuff in word, excel, and power point it can replace it. Anything else you do need a pc
I'm really happy that they released the 9.7" model. I loved the original iPad Pro, but the price was too high for me to justify what I was getting. Now with this one, even though I'll get 2GB RAM, 128GB model is much cheaper than the 32GB 12.9" model. I like drawing and painting, and I wanna have a device that is big enough to draw and small enough to play games and carry around. I believe 2GB RAM will be enough for a long time.
i really love the look of it and the addition of the flash makes me want to make an immediate purchase but i'll have to decide a bit before i make an informed decision.
I still have my old iPad3 & l just upgraded my iPad to the iPadPro 9.7 inch. It's so much thinner and lighter. But nothing much has changed - things are just more smoother and faster. But in all honesty there's nothing really to write home about. But l actually put my iPadPro on top of my old iPad3 & l Noticed that the screen is a lot smaller than the older iPads. Now nobody has pointed this out or noticed that the new iPads the screens a lot smaller. If you have an old original iPad 2, 3 & 4. Just Put the original iPad down & then put the iPad Pro on top📱📲. U will notice the screen size difference.
I upgraded from an iPad 4 which my school gave me to the 9.7" iPad pro and I am so happy I did that bc there is so much improvement in basically everything!
the screen size is the same 9.7 but you think its bigger cause of the screen frame is wide butwhen the screen frame is not very wide it will be better so theyre all the same
If you are doing design. You have to get the Pencil and also a Lumiy Lightline LED lamp. You need the good interface, and you have to have good ambient lighting.
so EAP what do you recommend more the original iPad pro, or the 9.7 inch? I'm still debating on what to get. if you could reply it'll be really appreciated and i always stay tuned to see whats going on with apple! thank you and keep up the good work.
I have an iPhone 5S with the first generation TouchID and it works fine for me....that extra half second to unlock isn't really a big deal to me. I pick up my phone, tap the home button to wake it up and by the time I have it in front of me to use, I have it unlocked...I just unlock it while bringing it to position to use.
I love your videos I don't know your name but keep up the good work. When do I think there will be a jailbreak released? Good luck for the upcoming videos
I got the iPad pro yesterday, and I love it! The only problems i have it with it is that its a little bit heavy especially with the smart keyboard and for some reason the apple pencil doesn't work on mine ill have to test that out later...
This is exactly what the iPad Air 3 could've been from the first place. Scumbag Apple just decides to add the "Pro" name to it so they can crank up the price by $100.
+Dylan Tröster (WARDOG0475) Same here...bought my iPad 2 shortly after it was released (so 4 years from now). Great machine. Still runs iOS 9, with some glitches, but is surprisingly good for a 4-year machine. It would have been a piece of art if I hadn't broken its display and had those scratches all around though.
I had an old Archos tablet that was on ICS (android 4.0) and it had 256GB's. Never saw any other device come with that much out of the box without SD cards
I have the budget for either buying the Ipad Pro 9.7 or 12.9. But, I am completely confused about which one to buy. I won't be using the rear camera on either tablets as my smartphone's is much better, I may be interested only in the front-facing camera; in which I don't know who has the best between them. Secondly, to me; ambient display is just a gimmick, I don't know exactly if it'll make a difference. portability-wise, my bag can easily carry both. What I'm interested in also is knowing which of them has the best speakers. I heard from some people that the speakers on the Ipad Pro 12.9 are better and louder. Considering the RAM, I think there would be not much difference observed in performance between the 9.7 and 12.9 model as there's greater load on the RAM and CPU of the 12.9 due to screen size. I just want to know what is the best overall experience between both.
Could everythingapplepro post a video comparing the rumors and how the product actually turned out after each release? I think that will give people an idea of how probable future rumors are to be credible.
i was really hoping they would keep all the performance the same like the cpu, and especially the ram, also was hoping for the fast charging. But i guess it should still be a good upgrade from my ipad 3
It doesn't matter if there's no Xcode Support; Apple have said this is meant to replace a "PC" Laptop, not a Mac, so whether it has Xcode or not is irrelevant because no PC has Xcode anyway.
Do I buy a pro 12.9 now or do I wait till september to find out if theyre release a new one by november, and risk wasting two/four months without the device :/ when do you think the next 12.9 will come out?
You didn't understand my question, I'm getting the 12.9 inch screen size so it's gonna be a pro either way, but I don't know if to buy it now, or to wait till September to see if they release a new one. there is always going to be bigger and better coming out so if you keep waiting for new and better technology you won't get anywhere just consider that.
I'm fine with 2GB, slightly underclocked, not using the Smart Connector, True Tone, this pixelsensor, but protruding is a bit of a big deal, hopefully a case resolves that, good audio, 1st Gen Touch ID is I'm not using, sleek and sexy, FCC labels, blah blah blah, no 16GB, no PC replacement, and I'm fine with the iPad Pro 9.7.
I'm surprised they didn't call the 9.7 model the iPad Pro Mini. It sounded much fitting then just calling it the iPad Pro. Especially after learning about the specs from this video.
The iPad could replace a pc. My grandma still love her iPad, because all she do is writing emails, letters and watching tv with tv apps. The problem with shut up and down the pc and then windows choose the speaker in the monitor(not the external) and bluescreens and file systems and connect to the correct wifi automatically and updates still doesn't exist on the iPad. I think we techies forget this group of users. What do you think?
hi, I'm about to change my 12.9 for the 9.7, just because I think the smaller size will allow me to carrying it around easier and will be able to use it more...but I was wondering if you have heard about anything new coming out on the Pro line before the year end...I dont want to buy it and then something extremely awesome coming out a few weeks later...will really value your input! thanks in advance

Well thanks EAP for posting this video TODAY when I literally just bought the iPad Pro yesterday. It still blows my mind how big a tablet can be.
+Monia Sharhan Not sure if that's a passive aggressive comment or just thankful ha. Apple does have a good return policy though!
+EverythingApplePro He is so dumb he can't even be understood.
There Is An Other Tablet Samsung Galaxy View It Is A Huge Tablet I Can't See Tablet Like And I Also Buy Ipad Pro And The Samsung Has A Huge Tablet

That is true bro I agree

Companies need to stop saying that, tablets will never replace laptops or desktops.
Well the surface can since it is a full laptop in full tablet form
Extreme Computer Fan Isn’t the Surface just a laptop? People say it sucks as a tablet.
I used to be a fan..
But now I'm an airconditioner

When apple claims iPad pro can replace ur pc for productivity... Adobe suit and CAD programs like creo laughed
The main use I'll have for my iPad Pro 9.7 would be browsing, ebook reading, studying and mebbe an odd game now and then, and oooh movies 😊😊😊
Both iPad comes in 256Gb Now
Yep
+RedMotMan YUP!
You would never need that much, lmao.
+AHappyFace sure you will if you do productivity and want to used the iPad pro for work if you do video/photography you can have the films to show your clients etc
+RedMotMan I suppose...
Old cases from air 2 won't fit 1: camera 2: speakers
I know!
Thanks for clarifying...I almost got really pissed at myself for buying another case lol...

Huge fan of Apple's products, culture and philosophy and just wanted to thank you for your unbiased, informative and well produced videos.

I Always Get Happy When Ever You Upload A New Video, Please Make Longer Videos!
Damn EAP back at it again with the everything you should know videos!
I'm really happy that they released the 9.7" model. I loved the original iPad Pro, but the price was too high for me to justify what I was getting. You said truth bet it's still wrking
Your every video starts with "What's up guys! Everything Apple pro here"
Funny to notice😜
Im getting iPad Pro 9.7 128gb model refurbished from Amazon. Im getting it in a week. I cant wait.
Dear Everythingapplepro, keep up the good content and I love how u post like everyday unlike other youtubers who post ever 3 - 7 days. Keep it up!
It seems as though you have one if these to at least film.
So why did you say you will have to wait and see about the protrusion of the camera?
I love my iPad Pro 9.2
i really love the look of it and the addition of the flash makes me want to make an immediate purchase but i'll have to decide a bit before i make an informed decision.
I still have my old iPad3 & l just upgraded my iPad to the iPadPro 9.7 inch. It's so much thinner and lighter. But nothing much has changed - things are just more smoother and faster. But in all honesty there's nothing really to write home about. But l actually put my iPadPro on top of my old iPad3

You're stupid they are still the same size displays. Only the bezels have changed in size.
+Matthewliu1 yeah but still
I upgraded from an iPad 4 which my school gave me to the 9.7" iPad pro and I am so happy I did that bc there is so much improvement in basically everything!
does it run hearthstone smoothly ? xD
someone is selling me their ipad pro this one w/ 128GB 600$ n I was saving for a MacBook Pro 2012 idk...
the screen size is the same 9.7 but you think its bigger cause of the screen frame is wide butwhen the screen frame is not very wide it will be better so theyre all the same
It's not just you, I think that the new bends are really cool the coolest one that Apple have been ever made even cooler then iPhone 5 shell!!!
I'm getting my first iPad soon and I'm stoked! Which one should I buy?!
i have the same fraking problem and i was between iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro 9.7
Same here, but that's a good problem.

try them at Apple store 31.3
this ipad 128gb is on sale for 580 im glad i saw the video first before pulling the trigger

+DvdXploitr 1st gen Touch ID is great, however it is all about the fact that apple does one step forward then one step backward.
I just need an Ipad with the slow mo feature. The Ipencil is a nice touch. This would be the Ipad for me.
I love your videos I don't know your name but keep up the good work. When do I think there will be a jailbreak released? Good luck for the upcoming videos
Since the iPad Pro 9.7" only has 2 GB RAM & has no 3D touch, should I wait for the next iPad Pro ,or buy now ?
I ordered it yesterday but after this video I ask myself the same things.. maybe i give it back.
I got the iPad pro yesterday, and I love it! The only problems i have it with it is that its a little bit heavy especially with the smart keyboard and for some reason the apple pencil doesn't work on mine ill have to test that out later...
9.7 inch 32GB
Can you do a iPad Air 2 vs. iPad Pro 9.7?
Gotta wait and get one on hand
Where did you get your wallpaper? They look super dope!!
Where did you get that wallpaper?
This is exactly what the iPad Air 3 could've been from the first place. Scumbag Apple just decides to add the "Pro" name to it so they can crank up the price by $100.
I'm thinking about getting it. The price is so expensive though. Great Video!
It starts at $599, how the fuck is that expensive at all?
+Geoarge Maybe to you it's not expensive but to me it is, so BURN
Would that be a good choice to buy for uni ? (Pharmacy)?
shereen soni yeah I would recommend it!
Amazing video! What's that wallpaper in the thumbnail of this video?
I think this will be a good upgrade from an iPad Air first gen
Definitely!
Yup. That's what I'm doing later this year
I'm coming from an iPad 2 :D

I'm so exited upgrading from a iPad 3
do you think Apple is going to replace this iPad in the fall? or keep it for two years like the iPad Air 2
I had an old Archos tablet that was on ICS (android 4.0) and it had 256GB's. Never saw any other device come with that much out of the box without SD cards
thanks im going down the road tomorrow and bying 1!!!!
I'm thinking of getting an Ipad for writing my stories when I'm not at home. What Ipad should I buy? Air 2 or Pro 9.7?
Finally not a destroying video
Omg you notice the new antenna band too :))
Did you notice that the bottom speakers and the top speakers are also not symmetrical?
I have the iPad Air 2 and it's still a very good tablet 👍🏻
You mentioned there was a free Microsoft subscription that comes with purchasing this iPad pro. How do we get that?
I wanna jailbreak my iPad Pro 12.9 in really hope they drop one quick
After this video I decided to trade in old ipad and get a new ipad air two. I think the air 2 will best choice for me now.
The air 2 case won't fit. Because of the speakers in the pro
I have a brand new iPad Air 2 and I don't know if I should upgrade or not. Please give some feedback!
Yeah... I'll wait for ipad pro 2
Can you do a iPad Pro 9.7 comparison with the iPad Air 2
Can you make a test of the new fast charger with an iPhone and see if it varies
I have the budget for either buying the Ipad Pro 9.7 or 12.9. But, I am completely confused about which one to buy. I won't be using the rear camera on either tablets as my smartphone's is much better, I may be interested only in the front-facing camera; in which I don't know who has the best between them. I just want to know what is the best overall experience between both.
The 12.1 is a bit "weak " it's battery life dies a but quicker, so I'm suggesting the 9,7
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Well, thank you for this video. I´ve got an iPad Air 2 and this is key to NOT get the new iPad Pro. around 1000 € to get just a few improvements...
Please tell me , where did you buy your screen protector for your iPhone ?
Great Video. Thank you for making it.
Could everythingapplepro post a video comparing the rumors and how the product actually turned out after each release? I think that will give people an idea of how probable future rumors are to be credible.
love your videos!
i was really hoping they would keep all the performance the same like the cpu, and especially the ram, also was hoping for the fast charging. But i guess it should still be a good upgrade from my ipad 3
It doesn't matter if there's no Xcode Support; Apple have said this is meant to replace a "PC" Laptop, not a Mac, so whether it has Xcode or not is irrelevant because no PC has Xcode anyway.
I have the GC signs on my rose gold 6s and my friend says that she saw them on the rose gold in the Apple Store too
Do I buy a pro 12.9 now or do I wait till september to find out if theyre release a new one by november, and risk wasting two/four months without the device :/ when do you think the next 12.9 will come out?
You didn't understand my question, I'm getting the 12.9 inch screen size so it's gonna be a pro either way, but I don't know if to buy it now, or to wait till September to see if they release a new one. Rumours are there's either a November release or a March release. I don't mind waiting till November but I'm not waiting till March
there is always going to be bigger and better coming out so if you keep waiting for new and better technology you won't get anywhere just consider that.
Great video! I was surprised that there's only 2Gb of RAM o.O
That wallpaper is beautiful. link?
How long should i wait before buying this
man you really suggested right at the end can you tell me laptops worth that price??
should I get an iPad Pro or Macbook Pro? Cant choose :
I'm fine with 2GB, slightly underclocked, not using the Smart Connector, True Tone, this pixelsensor, but protruding is a bit of a big deal, hopefully a case resolves that, good audio, 1st Gen Touch ID is I'm not using, sleek and sexy, FCC labels, blah blah blah, no 16GB, no PC replacement, and I'm fine with the iPad Pro 9.7.

which tablet should i get? plz.....
Hey everythingApplePro which iPad would you use for productivity?
Everythingapplepro how do you get enough money to brake all these Samsung and Apple stuff?
beast as hell's kitchen
I'm surprised they didn't call the 9.7 model the iPad Pro Mini. It sounded much fitting then just calling it the iPad Pro. Especially after learning about the specs from this video.
So I have the iPad Air and it's the same screen size as the 9.7" IPad Pro?
Yup
All iPads have the same screen size (9.7") except the 12.9" iPad pro which obviously has a 12.9" screen
+Julien Meyer and the iPad mini is different
With all this power in the bigger iPad pro, Apple should release a software update where you can "Bootcamp" into OSX.
If apple will make fully functional Mac apps (like Xcode, photoshop) that working on iPad then I pads will be the pc replacement devices.
+Alex G. for your granma maybe, but not for pc power users
+Muhammad Numan I know. But there are so many old people and casual users. I think the target group is large enough.
Alex G. Good point
hi, I'm about to change my 12.9 for the 9.7, just because I think the smaller size will allow me to carrying it around easier and will be able to use it more...but I was wondering if you have heard about anything new coming out on the Pro line before the year end...I dont want to buy it and then something extremely awesome coming out a few weeks later...will really value your input! thanks in advance
When will it come out in Ireland? Like in stores!
I've got mine I love it so much, I've never got anything on the day it came out but I got mine when it did, I feel so special hah
What's that backround?looks like it's Christmas
iOS 9 is out! enjoying the new night shift feature.
the ambient light sensors and the dimmer thing also is on a IPad mini 4 also
