I absolutely love this type of video, and the attention to detail to even the smallest things (like the knurling)! I also just got one of these of my own (non-Canadian), it has a leak and I was pretty worried about the internals being more complicated, so this teardown was super handy, thank you so much!
I found one of these in my grandpa's garage, also Canadian made. Original black finish and plastic imitation stag horn grip. It even came in the original box with the instructions, a business reply envelope, and a safety tag. Only thing that was missing was the ram rod. The instructions actually said the preferred pellet for best performance is Crossman Super Pells (which I happened to have). Also, they did include that there was a way to empty the pellets, but its pretty simplistic. It basically says: line up a barrel with the loading port, point it down, and lightly hit the gun till they fall out. Alternatively, if the pellets are sticking, us a small pointed tool, like a nail, and pick the pellets out. (Very caveman way of doing it). The retaining screw thumbnut was really stuck, to the point where I needed plyers to loosen (and unfortunately I scratched the metal a bit). Everything else worked fine, but the seal needs replacing to stop the co2 from leaking when its loaded.
Neither did I !!. originally from Buffalo area now an upstate NYer.glad to be away from that snow belt!!! Better winters in the middle of the state!! I have this gun with the black stag grips used to have the original holster.i think I was getting about 325 fps shooting crosman wadcutters
I have a crosman revolver that looks different to yours. I'm trying to put it back together but am having trouble due to the lack of sources and guides online.
As I am not normal, I am still waiting for the day that we all can see airguns and replica guns full made, in U.S. or Canada, or Europe... Maybe I should change doctor, even though I do not use drugs.. 1000 thanks for the video!!

I loved the way it turned out. The black, the wood grips, and even the sound of the clicks!!
Nice job on those grips. Very cool piece of history.
Excellent video as usual! Love your stuff sir!
I enjoy your rebuild videos. Thanks

Fantastic video! I just bought one of these off ebay. Great job going through the gun and cleaning it up.
*Nice work it definitely looks alot better now!*
_Didn't know we had a Crosman factory in Kenada._
Thanks for sharing a bit of Crossman history, how about putting a thin sliver of rubber between the intake pipe and outlet pipe?
good job looks absolutely amazing
I wanted one of those *SO* badly, as a youngster! You did a nice clean-up, and I hope you can improve on the velocity a little. Thanks for the video!
thats really cool! never knew they had manufacturing in Canada.

Is it a shiloe
the deeper flute was to push a stuck pellet back out of the barrel when there was not enough gas left in the cylinder.
Hey, that makes sense. I never would have guessed that.
It might have been stated in the manual if I remember right. I do remember using it to remove pellets from the barrel though.

Interesting gun. Looks easy enough to deepen the pellet pockets.
i converted a hahn bb to pellet firing - jg's airguns were very helpful with the parts i needed
Oh boy I want one so bad .
the deep chamber is in case a pellet gets stuck in the barrel - the deep chamber lines up with the barrel then the pellet is poked back into it
If the U S Crossman is still around, perhaps they may have more history to divouch to this piece.
