Very clear explanation, is it also possible for lumion to make a light studio for furniture renders, i am having a hard time with my black coated steel coffee table with a glass top. It would help me out tremendously if there would be a lumion tutorial about the light studio set up. Thank you :)
Hi again ! I setup a photo studio, and render the thepot with a glass effect. And I got a good result ! Just have to play a bit more with the lights,, and glass settings. Thank you ! George
I got it working in the studio environment with a small object, but the work I am working on is still the same. I have a table top made of glass, and a showcase also made of glass, and they turn out really bad, no matter what I set it to... :( Can I send you my Skp file so you could have a look at it ?
I can't spend a whole lot of time on it, but I can glance at it and see if the problem jumps out at me. Send it to my contact info from this page - www.thesketchupessentials.com/contact/ - Thanks!
you can hold shift key will making the rectangle light it shows arrow with light direction, you can move to the other side and right click than its flipped
@@TheRenderingEssentials Justin, I watch alot of videos of instruction as I am new to sketchup and just started Vray. You explain things soooo well and easy to understand! Do you have any videos on camera setups and also post production? Keep up the great work as you have taught me sooooooooo much!!! :)
Such a great video! thank you for sharing your knowledge! I followed the tutorial and it all went well except that my whitebalance seems off and my whole render has a blue tinge but I can't figure out where those settings are and how to fix them? Have you done any videos that could maybe help me? thanks! :)
very helpful! what about lighting with out a set-up studio as background but rather a file you want to save as PNG with no background whatsoever, lighting tips, thanks!!

Is this possible to do same things with vray 2.0?
Thank you for the tutorial
No clue - I haven't tried it in 2.0. Did you try it to see if it works?
yes vray2 has all these functions described in the video
Just perfect
:)
Nice, but it was too noisy, how can we fix that?
I have a question.
my vray frame buffer doesn't work like how it's working with you.
I have to put it on render every time to see.
it just doesn't work like yours.
please help!
What version?
Vray next
Don't know - I don't have Vray Next...
İ had the same. All you need is to rotate the light from up to down. The light side must be up
Awesome tutorial! Could you share the file pls?
It really shouldn't be hard to make your own based on the information in the tutorial...
