To answer the Question 'Did we take the Girls Off School' Yes... Unfortunately I can't choose when I have NHS procedures to reduce my pain (I only get 2 a year) this time my surgery was at the end of October (making November the best time for us to go on Holiday) we had meetings with the school board and the holiday should have been allowed under 'Exceptional Circumstances' (due to my medical conditions) but the Headteacher had the final say and fined us £240. As the Girls are top of their class at school (and often bored because the school cannot cater to their learning needs) we decided to take them on Holiday because it wouldn't affect their education.
Holly Vlogs you guys are their parents & you know what’s best for them, family time is just as important for children’s development as in school education & the ages the girls are it’s not like they have GCSE’s or A levels & I’m sure you guys will be doing a bit of reading & stuff with them will your away 😀 So I say the schooling system is wrong 👎🏼 & you 2 are great parents 💕
Of course she took her children out. Who cares, they're young enough to catch up if needed, doesn't sound like they do. Their mummy has pain issues which restricts what she can do with them so why not make the most out of the time she has less pain, it's memories they'll remember, they most likely won't remember what they learn in school in years to come.
Having a disabled sister and suffering from chronic pain myself take the holidays/the fun times when you can as you never know when you will get that time again. My sister is now no longer able to fly any further than 4hrs due to her heart I am so glad I got to experience Florida with her whilst we were both able. I really want to get back into work and feel such a failure at the minute, sorry I do not express myself very well (Aspergers) but I just wanted to say having insomnia and not feeling great your Florida vlogs really help me forget just for awhile. Thank you for sharing xx

Its awful. Stomach issues tonight. Its 4am and had a couple of hours in the last 24. At docs tomorrow and always gives me anxiety and I never sleep before a GP visit. I have B12& vit D deficiency which has now caused my hair to fall out 😩 so need some help. Thank you for sharing your family. I don’t have contact with mine so its really nice to see a happy family. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your vacation xx

You shouldn’t have to justify yourself to anyone asking if you took them out of school. Family memories are just as important, if not more, than school. Especially when the kids are doing their best and achieving good grades. Can’t wait to watch the vlogs xx

I flew upper with Virgin to New York. I also used miles and that’s the only way I could have afforded it. It is so good! The food, the service! 😍 It was the most calm flight I’ve ever done. First class meal whilst in bed with a duvet!!!

Great Travel vlog. We are heading out to Orlando this year (last visit was 14 years ago). We are also taking our girl out of school but she will learn and experience so much.
I used to get very nervous when flying (still do!) But we flew with TUI this year and they really helped, explained to the whole cabin what was happening and why it was. E.g: the lights dimming, so something that would usually scare the life out of me, when it is explained it really allows you to relax! Hope you enjoyed your holidays!
I agree! Once you know what’s happening you feel a lot more relaxed! I watched a TH-cam video explaining everything that happens during flight before we left this time 👌🏻

Omg! All these comments about “did she take her kids out of school?!”. I think it is totally acceptable to take your children out of school if need be! My parents usually do this because flights are cheaper, hotels are cheaper and tourist attractions are not as busy! Of course it is important to get a good education but as long as you go to school when you are not on holiday it’s is perfectly acceptable to take small holidays. This is even more acceptable if your flying out of the country as it is easier to cope with crowds etc. And ultimately it is the parents/caregivers decision whether they take their kids out of school or not.

Might do this for my 30th in three years so plenty off time to save lol x thinking on staying at animal kingdom lodge :) went in March and stayed in cabana bay and done mostly universal and one day in magic kingdom and economy but me and mum was able to nosy at first class aer lingus and looked amazing so we definitely going to pull all the stops for my 30th next time 😍

We're doing the reverse flights next year - going out premium and coming back first class.....am not a millionaire, I work for the NHS and this has been possible due to scrimping and saving !!! Plus it's my son's 21st birthday jus before we fly and my 50th when I'm out there!xx
Just a little tip the next time you visit, Orlando, or anyplace in, Florida, don't buy water that says .'Drinking water', or Great Value, it's just tap water like you said tasted like swamp water. Buy, Crystle, or Zephyrhills spring water, they're delicious and pure, no chemicals added. If you go to, Publix supermarket, their spring water is wonderful too.
Omg i would love to go upper class! I could just lie down and sleep all the way! Its 11 months untill we go back only been back from our last visit about 2 months and it already feels like a life time away 🙄
In California each plastic grocery bag is 10 cents. So bring reusable grocery bags to all stores. Apparel stores charge 10 cents per paper shopping bag depending on the county.

Consider looking for a private school nearby. I did with my eldest for the exact same reasons and she got full funding.

I was down there in April and the Wal-Mart is so much more expensive than the ones up here Pennsylvania.
