- Hi, We are The Hamilton Family. There is Myself (Perry), The Mrs (Charlie) and our 2 children (Paige & Teddy & our 2 dogs (Pixie & Lola Both Miniature Schnauzer) We welcome you to our new Florida Trip Series which is our second trip in 2023.
It's Travel Day for us and the excitement has kicked in. We make the short journey from the Premier Inn Gatwick North Terminal to Gatwick South Terminal, Security was breeze before we head to the No1 Lounge. This was very nice and was a good place to relax before our flight. Of course the girls had to get some shopping in 😂.
Flight to Orlando was delayed and unfortunately this did mean our plans had changed when we arrived into MCO.
Quick bite to eat and Public stop before we make our way to the Rosen Shingle Creek.

@@_TheHamiltonFamily My wife and I never had children and I often regret that decision - especially when I see kids laugh and smile. It always melts my heart. 😊 Also, I'd like to offer you some friendly advice about moving to the States - move to a Red State (a state run by Republicans). They are the MOST Family Oriented states by far. The quality of life is much BETTER, Taxes are LOWER and the people are MUCH friendlier. 😊 Your children will benefit the MOST by moving to a Red State. 😊 FYI - Florida is a Red State.

We have stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek many times, great restaurants and the market is awesome too. It is so close to the new Universal Park, the resort will certainly be updated and prob cost a TON of money in the near future when the park opens...
Yes, we love the hotel. As you say the restaurants and market are brilliant. Very close to Universal and still close to Disney parks as well. 100%, it will be much more expensive once the new park opens.

Excellent video. That is the first tour I've seen of Shingle Creek. One suggestion with the room tour in mind ,maybe slower pan of the camera from one subject to the next ...easier on the viewer's eyes. But awsome family and video. See you in December. 😊

Were the meals decent on the flight Perry? Loved Teddy's reaction, his giggle is infectious!
Meals were ok.... not the best but nothing exciting. We always grab some sandwiches in the airport before we board. Kids are not that interested in the meals on the plane. The afternoon snack was good, it was a chicken wrap which was very nice.

We've never flown from Gatwick before and we will be this month. Was that the monorail you went on to south terminal? How was it and does it run frequently? Love the travel day. Kids looked soooo happy ❤️
Gatwick is brilliant, we much prefer flying from their than Heathrow..... Yes its a monorail which runs between North & South terminal and it runs every few minutes.
Kids are always happy for travel day, I think us adults are like kids on a travel day 😂

I didn't even realise there was a monorail until I watched your travel day. We're also staying at the Premier Inn. Also didn't know about the check bags in the previous night, so very informative for us. Will be watching the vlogs to get us through the next 2.5 weeks until we travel. ❤️ Thank you so much 😁

Is the bedside table in the centre moveable? There were no king rooms available when i booked so thinking about just pushing both beds together. Is that possible do you know?
Yes I think you could move it and push them together
You didn’t move to the other lounge because you found a space you moved because you weren’t allowed in the Clubrooms with children!
Clubrooms…. That wasn’t a clubroom area, it was in the No1 lounge and we was told to go in there by the staff. We would have stayed in there but we managed to get another table in the main area which is closer to the food and drinks.
