  • • Temporal Anomaly - A S... Part 2 can be watched here!
** Temporal Anomaly has a custom arrangement with CBS which allows for its release with its longer run time. This project was started in 2013 and created long before the fan film guidelines, to allow its release we got a separate arrangement with CBS**
It's finally here! Originally backed on Kickstarter in March 2013 this project has evolved year upon year. From using antiquated video game engines for the space visual effects and green screen sets, to spending hundreds of hours learning the very same VFX software they made the space effects in Voyager/Enterprise/DS9. Its been a wonderful journey and i'm so proud if its final result...truly a quality that I could never have dreamed possible back in 2013!
With a wonderful cast of actors, Temporal Anomaly is a love letter to all of Star trek! The first fan film to combine all of the eras into one project.
Check out our next big project...Convergence - A Star Trek fan production, the largest fan film cross over event in history!
“Star Trek and all related marks, logos and characters are solely owned by CBS Studios Inc. This fan production is
not endorsed by, sponsored by, nor affiliated with CBS, Paramount Pictures, or any other Star Trek franchise,
and is a non-commercial fan-made film intended for recreational use. No commercial exhibition or distribution is
permitted. No alleged independent rights will be asserted against CBS or Paramount Pictures.”

See, this just proves you don't need a fancy set, a super fancy high budget, or a super fancy costume department.
Just some half decent actors, and an EXCELLENT, story.

So many people donated time here and there that had to be coordinated, in addition to the innumerable hours of post-production work on the effects, soundtrack, and all the other things that go into making a film, done for free on a very limited budget. I would say everyone did a great job, the actors that gave their time did a wonderful job and taking all those pieces and putting them together while also continuing to live a normal life outside of doing just this one project is a pretty incredible achievement! Everyone deserves to be proud of their involvement in this project!

Just to play devils advocate. But the Enterprise computer is fairly sophisticated. She had at that time identified it as an enemy vessel and locked weapons on it. Her ordering the wrong array to be fired may have been auto corrected. sort of like ... command imperative fire hostile vessel dorsal phaser array, error array out of alignment, correcting, firing ventral phaser array....

I think that the real Star Trek franchise now lives on in fan films rather than official shows. It used to be a thought-provoking optimistic sci-fi, not a political propaganda platform or a ferengi production. Fanfilms stayed true to the original Star Trek ideas. This is the official Star Trek to me.

One plot note that I really appreciate... everyone (except Munro!) seems to readily accept the possibility of time travel/temporal divergence. With all the weird stuff that Starfleet vessels have encountered, it should be just that easy to say, "yeah... looks like we might have just traveled through time." Star trek today isnt even relating to the star trek fan made movies and series. Picard and discovery was a bust and I will never watch them again. Hopefully more fan made star treks will be made for us fans and stick to the point and story not like the newer non star trek series
