Thank you so much for this tutorial! I haven't draped a cake in so long and I have an order for a draped cake coming up and this was a great refresher! I can't wait to watch more of your tutorials! I also loved all four flowers. I think it looks great with all four and just the two! We are our most heavy critic and just have to keep our confidence!
I love the look of the 4 flowers. I don't think it would have looked finished with only 2 flowers. The cake is beautiful. Great video! Thank you for sharing.
I would have gone with the 4 flowers too. It doesn't look over done at all. Very elegant Rosie .. I hope u are well , and taking care of yourself much love from the south east of Melbourne

Hi rosie to make the drapes do you need gum paste or just plain fondant tia by the way your cake is georgous and your vids are alway a pleasure to watch
hi Rosie's . and thank you for your tutorials which helped me a lot. but I have a problem I tried to apply fondant on my American buttercream cake, but I found that it was shiny, as if my was fondant jecting moisture and it was really very unpleasant to work with afterwards. please what trick do you use to keep your fondant constant. Thank you for answering me
Hi! I think the problem you may be having is humidity. Here in England we sometimes have a huge issue with it regarding fondant. I would recommend doing the outside as ganache rather than American buttercream, although still keep it buttercream inside. Allow your ganache to set and sit at room temperature and cover in fondant then. When the cake is too cold like straight out a fridge the humidity hits the fondant and makes it go wet and sticky and very hard to work with. Also I use Massa but they do one called Mass Tropic which is meant to be good for high humidity areas too! Hope this helps 😁 x
I like it with all 4 flowers! It looked more complete. Very elegant!!
I like the extra flowers! This cake would’ve looked especially elegant with one of your wedding toppers ☺️
