      I am the builder and it was so fun to build. I discovered cyclekarts last summer online and contacted Steve Vinson who lives in the area and he and the group that meets here in Arizona let me come by look at their cars and take photos and measurements and they gave me tons of tips from their experience building. The up-front help was huge!!! Driving your own creation and watching heads turn is priceless!!!!

    I’m a farmer so I love making something useful and even beautiful out of crap laying around - nicely done!

      I am the builder. The exhaust is old flex tubing used at a factory to vent a soldering workstation. They gave it to me a few years ago when upgrading their system.

    Always thought you could do that with a ladder! Cool, resourceful build. Nice faux engine too. Well done.

      I am the builder. The ladders worked awesome!! But you have to stack two and rivet them together because a single ladder is too flexible by itself. I also like the wedge shape it gives to the build.

      @@tripsofjacks Thanks for the tip. Yes, the wedge shape gives it that vintage chassis look.

    lulz - likely cause of audio issue, is finger-over-microphone on phone. We've all done it once!
    True "Ladder frame Chassis",.... :D

    So I'm currently in the works of building a two seater Cycle-cart esk type machine for my boys. What honda are those wheels off of? I really love the thought of starting a group like this here in Oregon.

    • @stevevinson6030
      @stevevinson6030  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wheels are from a Honda CT90. Honda used that same wheel on lots of their small bikes in the 1970's.
