Hey Gavin, we just wanted to make the most of the favourable wind direction to get past Portland and further west this year, So just generally making less stops in places we've already been, because it's all too easy for a quick stop to turn into a. longer one with us 😂⛵️ We do have to anchor alarms, I think it was setting the potential swing distance incorrectly by me which triggered the alarm in the middle of the night, and then it's just really hard to settle again 😔😔

Well yes, when I checked our first fuel filter on the engine it all still looked good, so the dipper is taking what developed at the bottom of the tank, but it was still quite disconcerting to see. We put a lot more biocide in the tanks and have been running the dipper every time we're in a roll. So when can we buy the fish cook book :-) You might check the rules on crab pots in Devon and Cornwall. Each county has differing rules. They seemed rather draconian when I last looked as we also carry a crab pot.
I actually got a crab pot permit for Devon, but Cornwall, when I phoned and spoke to someone at the IFCA, they said you don't need a permit as a recreational potter in Cornwall, just a maximum of five pots and only to take up to 2 shell fish a day of a minimum size which they lay out on the website.
