Allis Chalmers Show: 1936 Allis Chalmers WC First Run In 10 Years

The first episode of what we hope will be an ongoing series, let us know what you think. I bought this WC around 2002 from the original owners son. Still has the original paint and the original tools in the tool box. It also has the remains of a Farm Commando decal on the hood. Was featured in the 2005 Sept Oct issue of Antique Power

When cranking an Allis Chalmers, make sure you tuck your thumb into your palm, not wrap it around the crank handle. Allis Chalmers will kick and break your thumb

My grandpa had a seat fixed for me to ride on next to the left fender and I spent many a hour riding along with him on his 1936 WC that he bought new. Went to town with a team of horses and a wagon load of oats. Came home with a WC on steel a mounted cultivator and a plow in the wagon.

I see this video was uploaded in 2017. How's that young fellows right arm? Has that WC kicked back yet and dislocated his shoulder? Never Ever push down on a hand crank, always pull up.

start your crank from the 6 o clock position. If you aren't getting 3 clicks you aren't hitting it hard enough

Yeah Doc Allis taught me how to start his 37 WC when I was 14. crank could catch you in the chin too

I often wonder why you use a John Deere fly-wheel next to J and L videos, looks nice but not Allis Chalmers?

I do own a 1935 John Deere A as well, I've been meaning to switch the logo to something Allis related but I haven't figured out what yet.
