T_T On a serious note, i really like this compact version of how to play a character. The most important information right at hand for someone to pick up the character and have some fun - makes me actually want to try out Kazuya again, focusing only on using what you have shown here and keeping the gameplan as simple as possible. I also think that in particular the short anti-Kazuya notes are very useful for anyone going up against a character they struggle with, even though you have a full video on how to deal with Kazuya specifically. Just a few but valuable pointers for as how to approach a match up can go a long way. Good stuff! :)

I thought this was going to be a joke guide like the one you did on Lei (which clearly showed your frustration with the character) but this was a very concise and informative mini guide. I love watching two hour long, super detailed breakdowns of Tekken characters but I definitely would like to see more of these 8 minute guides.

On the other side, it reminded me about my notes on my phone that has a very easy mode Kazuya that I'm hoping can be useful for casuals and people who want to just pick up and play. My original goal was to try and allow my younger brothers to easily pick up characters, but even then they could care less and just want to mash buttons for fun, but that's okay. (it's hilarious to see them in full party mode) I really don't want this to go to waste though, so give this to someone you know that doesn't play so they can at least try to have some fun. *[Kazuya]* Use mostly: b2,4 db3 db4 Use sometimes: d1+2 db2 f4 Punishes: 1,1,2 b1,2 WS1+2 WS4,4 Armor: f2 Rage: (art) df1+2 If you know how to crouch dash: cd,n,3 cd4,1 (rage drive) cd1+4 and then this is my overall general list and rules applied to every character: (For most of the Tekken cast. Such an incredibly difficult character to master...I used to main Kazuya a long time ago in Tekken 4, but I can't for the life of me win matches like a did before with Kazuya.
Please consider creating more videos on "Main rules of beating X character". This is the most helpful content for intermediate players. You've done something similar in the past for few other characters and they helped significantly.
started tekken a month ago, got to grandmaster yesterday thanks to this video. People literally have no originaity or somehow have literally the same taste. I'm sure at least two thirds of EVERYONE I've ever played against is a Kazuya. It's like I only need to learn one matchup. I'll have a 2h lab session on him tomorrow.
@@NSMBrosWii he does. Set bryan to do snake edge and a bunch of mids in practice mode and try to react, then try it on 4 and 3 bars, but trust me, snake edge on 3 bars is busted🤣
I'm new to tekken, and i love kazuya. But every his move input is very hard, at least for me, i have big hands and play using ps4 controller using d pad. I can't even perfectly input WGF, but atleast i can get 60% right input on WGF and i think i can be better with this move if i practice enough but for the hellsweep somehow I can't really properly execute it ,on my 20x tries only 1 i got it right, and I've been strugle with it, and somehow i always input this fucking move right there 2:07
I know this is super late, but if you still need help with hellsweep you’re inputting the 4 too late in the crouch dash and you’re getting while standing 4. Try to do it earlier.
F3 is a great mid keep-out often overlooked for Kazuya. Also 1+2 can shutdown extremely aggressive but requires timing (-12 on block I believe). Kazuya has great, lesser used moves. Nejiri Urakens cancel also is great. Make sure you check them all out! Kazuya is 🔥
The comments on this compared to the Zafina video are enlightening. Character can only be strong if they're a mishima seems to be the general consensus of Tekken players lol.
i dont understand why no one mentions kazuya's down forward 4 - its 13 frames, safe on block and excellent as a fast mid poke - yes the crouch dash 4 is much better, but this move is almost as good, to stop enemy's momentum and keep them in check. - or am i missing something ??

Been trying out Kzauya for 3 days now and this helps a lot. My electric game is improving but I still need to work on it like crazy.

It's a good mid check since it's 13f yes. But it's -9 on block so that's what its good for, to check people. You can't really poke well with that
