Suzuki wrote 4% slip at 189 mph (= 300kmh) with the Hayabusa 1999 (Gen 1) tested by Suzuki and there own tracktest.
For european reader 4% from 300 kmH = 12 kmh faster as reality. 4% from 189 mph you can calculate by your self.
But if the tyre one is wormer and the street temperature and a clean street or the coarse racetrack asphalt is a big difference.

Oh I see the rev limiter from the Gen 2 busa is set at 12500 rpm.
If someone changed these he changed the acceleration limiter from 1st gear , 2nd gear and 4th gear .
Yes shure he maybe swirched off the max sppe limiter in 5th gear and 6th gear.
But we all dont know it.
And we dont know if the very old Gen 1 busa is modded with other exhaust (or the Gen 2 busa?).
We know nothing for a good comparison.

@@bsjdhdhjd3683 gen 2 hayabusa goes on 300 at 5th gear but we always want to see on which speed it goes on 6th that's the reason I said that gen1 is unique and limited... otherwise gen2 is also best ... but old is gold ❤❤💫

Top constant torque - gen 3 - best braking

@@blackonepac Direct braided lines from the master cylinder to each caliper and sintered pads was a huge upgrade! Still not Gen 2 or 3 but definitely worth a try. Improved mine drastically!
braking on the second generation is much better after 2013 with Brembo brake calipers and Abs, I agree that there was nothing until then...
I like my gen 1, I have the only purple one I've seen so far. They're all bloody fast, no use in arguing over which is quicker/faster (cough Purple ones cough) as it comes down to the rider once the push into the corners increases.

First year busa , is the only busa that really is a busa :))))
Only on top end speed. Also it has way less Hp than gen 2. Gen 2 and Gen 3 will beat Gen 1 in a quarter mile race.
@@gdoggperry8779 i know gen 2 is powerfull, but its definitely heavyer,with different gearing. With all that, first gen, with 16bit ecus (unrestrictred ones 99-00) manage to be quicker to 300km/h. In 1/4 mile rider have a big contribution, gearing ,that looks favorable to gen2. Around here,we have skinny riders and bike are fast. I see around the world that busas carries big guys,rarely a proper one to get a good dash accelleration for comparison.

@@duckity4320 as i give my facts above : first busa (1999) is the quickest off the line and with highest top speed. Gen 2 have some advantages from rolling start on different gears and rpms, but not for long, those few horses are offset by its weight. Anyway, gen 3 should be the slowest do to hp/weight ratio, gen 2 better in stock form than all the other gen1 in stock form, except first one. Light moded first one is a killer for any n/a production motorcycle. I personaly beated racing prepped s1000rr , moded gsxr1000, zx10, zx12,R1 , cbr1000rr all moded, and many others

The jury's still out. All started at 60 kph but the Gen3 was a gear higher and the rider didn't rev as high between shifts. Consider ing that, the Gen3 looks pretty impressive. The speedo error is also pretty significant on these bikes.

I don’t have a gen 1 or gen 2 so yeah I’m excited as shit to be getting a gen 3 early next year. Electronics, quick shifter up and down, gen 3 is where it’s at for me.

1 era gen en Argentina vino con fallas había días que andaba más y otros menos.. la zx 12 1era generación con 100 CM3 menos le ganaba abajo y arriba a la Hayabusa..y acá una Hayabusa del mismo color llego marcar 325km de tablero..
Eso es cierto, y la única forma de solucionar esas fallas era y es remapearla... Ahora, los días que el Hayabusa no falla, vuela...

It’s no longer just about speed and no one on this thread is going to get anywhere near taking a busa towards 200mph, so that conversation isn’t for you.
The concept has run its course. They can’t drain anymore blood out of that stone. Quite a few 1 litre bikes are quicker than a busa, which wins on torque.
It’s not a one trick pony. I have both Gen 1 and 2, and having seen the 3 up close recently, I’ll be adding that in a couple of years - the pictures don’t do it justice.

2nd gen is faster than 1st gen and 3rd gen! In quarter mile! 3rd gen is a huge disappointment! Plz stop hyping up a bike that should've been faster or at least compete with the zx1400. I'm sticking with 2nd Gen. Trust me!!!!! Its faster in the quarter mile!!!!!!! 3rd time was supposed to be a charm but its a power failure!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT Y'ALL NEED TO STOP LYING TO PEOPLE. IT EVEN HAS LESS HORSEPOWER THAN GEN 2 AND ITS HEAVIER SO PLZ TELL ME HOW ITS FASTER!!!
But............it still busa, damn environmental protection limits a lot.
Full electronics, quick shifter, superior suspension and brakes compared to first 2 gens. Add a full exhaust and shave 40 pounds off the bike and gain power. And while you can’t have the ecu tuned yet you can do a fuel management thing to add fuel wherever it’s lean. I’m all for the gen 3 personally but to each their own.

Zx14 can now retire because Suzuki gave them the crown 👑. We all thought that the 3rd gen was gon have at least 230hp and be made lighter. 😆

Движок один, любого из них чуть доработь, выхлоп турбину, суть одна, в массе дело и доработки. 3 легче моей 1 я не спорю и мощнее. Нот если в 1 чуть вложить, она по металлу выше, но и чуть тяжелее. Облегчить, то я думаю вариантов нет, ибо 1 делали, что мне нравиться минимум электроники, максимум инженерной мысли

Imao sam 2002 bila je odlicna , prodao i kupio 2013 sa abs koja je bila topčina za staru po svemu, akrapi gore ,TRE stavljen motor je isao kao nevreme…. Očekivao sam više od treće generacija…

gen 3 has tons of restrictions not a fair comparison, also for gen 3 all they could improve was torque just look at the rpm in the top range gen 3 is at 8-9000 and comfortably sits at 280 km\h
the other 2 older bikes definetly have ecu flashes because the OEM original tune allows 100% throttle on gen 1 and gen 2 between 8500 -9500 and in the video gen 2 goes to 11000 rpm that would cause the bike to lose top speed if no aftermarket tune was present
also the acceleration is way way way better on gen 3 just look at the start the guy uses first gear just to get going then hammers secons from 40 km up to 160 likekm like its nothing face it gen 3 is the best
Gen 2 busa improved from gen 1 and still better than gen 3.. which is slower and the back of it it's ugly as shit...looks like a bucket cut open and added led for tail light...
