Calling Nick Foles a linsanity run is an absurd insult to Nick Foles. Foles led a team to a championship and had many years of great play. Jeremy Lin had a month or two. They are not the same.
Raheem mostert sort of fits this list. I know he has been able to have a great season this year, but before this year, he never really was a starting rb and had an insane playoff run with the 49ers in 2019, with an insane game against the packers in the nfc championship game.
If you do another one of these, I'd love to see a segment on Patrick Jeffers. A journeyman redeiver who might catch one or 2 a game, absolutely exploded for 700 yards and 8 TDs in the last 5 games of '99.
I remember that, I think what did him in was he blew his knee out right around the time he was arriving, could never get healthy and was just never the same player afterwards.

Foles got a few Linsanity runs lowkey. First with chip Kelly, throwing for 7 TDs in one game and having a 27TD-2INT season. Then some years later he comes back to Philly, replacing wentz to lead them to the first SB win. Almost had another run the next year too. Dudes a legend
In many ways, Nick Foles’ 2018 run was even more magical than his 2017 run - Super Bowl MVP and all! Instead of taking over for an 11-2 powerhouse, in 2018 Foles got a badly banged up, left for dead 6-7 Eagles team. He went on the road, back to LA of all places, and knocked off the eventual NFC Champion Rams, on a prime time game no one thought Philly would win. Then versus the playoff bound Texans, playing for the no.2 seed, with Deshaun Watson firing on all cylinders, Nick went out and set a franchise record 471 yards passing, 4 TDs, and even after getting speared in the chest by Jadeveon Clowny, Foles still pulled off a game wining drive, setting up a short, walkoff FG for Jake Elliott. Week 17, the Eagles dominated the Redskins, with Foles tying the NFL record for consecutive completions, allowing Philly to sneak into the playoffs, where they ran straight into the team with the number one defense in the league, Chicago. Despite it not being one of Foles’ best games, he led a last minute, game wining drive, capped off by a 4th and Goal TD pass to Golden Tate. The Double Doink did the rest. The divisional loss the no.1 seed Saints in the Superdome, was still incredible. Just a few weeks earlier, this team, led by Carson Wentz, had played this exact Saints squad in the Dome as well, and got annihilated 48-7, setting an NFL record for the worst defeat of a reigning SB Champion. Nick Foles takes them on in the divisional, with an even more banged up Eagles squad, makes some big plays early for TDs, coming within a last minute, dropped pass of perhaps knocking off the NFC’s top seed on the road. All things considered, It was incredible.

I'd add Vic Beasley to that list. In 2016, he led the league in sacks and forced fumbles and was a first team All-Pro. He never came close to his 2016 numbers, was out of the NFL after 2020, and was last seen in the XFL.
