Yea, that's what every ag said 8-9 yrs ago when you stole OU's strength and conditioning coach for Bimbo's staff. You ag holes all said he was the best in the nation. He ended up coming back to OU because of bimbos caustic style. Where did your DC go???

As an Aggie, nothing warms my heart more than to hear how upset people are that Coach Moffitt is now at A&M.
You can always get a decent idea of what you are getting in a player or a coach by how upset past teams are that they are going to a rival.
If those former programs don't seem to be all that bent then you might need to be a bit concerned...
The man will have every damn player on that team ready to run through a wall and keep going afterwards
Most lsu fans felt he was washed by the end at lsu. It was obvious he had lost his effectiveness there. LSU noticed a huge jump in stamina in the 4th quarter of games when other teams seemed to fade the first year he was gone. But maybe a change of scenery for Moffitt will do well for him and he can get back to his old ways. I think this is one of those best thing for both parties involved situations.

There's positives and negatives. LSU got whipped on the LOS for years against Bama after 2011, among other teams. It's hard to tell how much was the Les Miles offense leading into the Joe Burrow era and how much was talent. I think things got stale regardless for him at LSU, it remains to be seen if he still has it. But I will always support Coach Moffitt for what he did at LSU. Hopefully, he beats Bama and loses to LSU.
True but at the same time us Bama fans were catching a lot of flak from ND fans about hiring Tommy Reese and they were saying they are glad we took him because he's not good and his offense is vanilla. Now he's done a great job designing that offense around Milroe and featuring our skill players and the jokes on ND fans.

I am a retired army officer and here is my two cents. Our training paradigm is crawl, walk, then run. The soldiers had to master the training phases to progress to the next one and ultimately hit the run phase with competence and elan. That means standards to training must be met, and I can’t stress this point enough.
I firmly believe strength and conditioning is a paramount to the requisite standards for football players. For some ungodly reason the OL has been the major weakness of the team for two seasons. I believe Moffitt will be integral in creating a good OL starting with crawl, walk, and run phases.
It was obvious that the OL was incapable to competently run in the last two seasons because it was not fundamentally prepared. What was expected from the OL was more than it could deliver. Moffitt will change that because he will enforce the standards.
When we went to gunnery and combat in the M1 tanks, we did not just jump into the tank and start firing away. I as the tank commander, the gunner, loader, and driver had to meet exact standards of training before we were ready to fire the tank. If the standards were not met, then we trained until we were proficient. That is what the football team lacked in some areas over the last two seasons, especially the OL.
I am excited about this hire because Moffitt will help enforce the standards and we will have a competent OL and team again. Standards ruled in so many aspects of the game and life. I will STFU now! :)

@byronpayne7464 what's wrong with having a top defense from last season? Until the corners went down we had lsu in reach. Anemic offense with slow plays and a porous O line is why we stunk it up in every loss.

Texas A&M was essentially an all male military college for most of its history and didn’t have women or minorities until the 1960s. They didn’t even have the liberal arts degrees that most athletes take until the early 2000s. They honestly didn’t even invest into the football program until joining the SEC after 2012.
It's primarily an engineering and research school ... always has been.

I think Texas a&m is about to go from mediocrity to sub mediocrity. They’ve been soaking up recruits in the state of Texas because they had the advantage of being in the sec. Their old rivals are joining them now and those recruits are going to be more difficult to snag from the longhorns.
The only thing standing in the way of Texas A&M is Texas A&M. UT does not have a bigger seat than A&M at the SEC table.
@@colepriceguitar1153 Texas is going to be in the playoff. Texas A&M hasn’t been to an sec title game since they joined. Texas shits more revenue in one hour than Texas A&M’s salary for Jimbo fisher for the next three years. The sec just pulled the stool of twigs that Texas a&m sat on at the child’s table of the sec west and gave Texas a seat at the Alabama Georgia LSU table.
You do know before Jimbo was fired, aTm was sitting at number 3 in recruting and Texas sat at number 11 for 2024 recruiting class. This was also with players knowing Texas was in the SEC next year. Also, aTm has a ranking recruting average 92.96 compared to UTs 91.23. So even after a coaching change and UT being in the SEC now, aTm still is out recruiting UT. Nice try smart one. Lol
@@kyleverdun4586 have you seen this years recruiting rankings so far? Texas is top 5 to top 7 depending on who’s recruiting platform you follow. Texas a&m is barely top 20. Jimbo fisher may have been able to fool a few high caliber recruits into consistent mediocrity but a&m is getting lit up in the transfer portal and getting less 5 and 4 stars out of high school. This is coming from a bama fan by the way. Just calling it like I see it. Texas a&m is as mediocre in the sec as they were in the big 12. They temporarily gained an advantage over Texas because they were in the sec. That time is over. The advantage is gone.
