This song is about the folly of Mankind. I grew up listening to this song - a strong warning of the foolishness of Man.
Released July 12, 1969. I had just graduated high school. We could see even then that many of those things were going to transpire.
We had no concept however that 10,000 years would be morphed into 50 years.😢

This song is from July and August, 1969.
This version of 2525 used the old silent classic Sci Fi movie Metropolis for the video. There is another version that sounds the same with more varied Sci Fi imagery that I like better.

Even more impressive that none of the creators of the video, the song and the movie have been alive at the same time.
