Gracias amigo, the Cloth surface trick is great to give it thickness, I was trying with the Fold my design plugin but the truth is that it has many errors with complex planes, it is better to do it manually as in your video
Hello, i'm a newbie in 3D modelling, and i really appreciate your hard work for sharing these tutorial for helping people like us , who don't know where to learn these knowledge on internet. I'm from Viet Nam, i hope can see more tutorial video like this from your channel in future. P/s: can you introduce some 3d modelling books or online tutorial video for 3D modeling beginner ? i'm don't know where to start.
Hello, thank you, you can start from my beginner modeling tutorial, I will upload more about beginner stuff soon, I don't have much knowledge about books or tutorials about beginners.
Awesome. You are the best. Please continue. And Kindly make a video of can simulation by c4d and realflow plugin. But please don't use Octane. Try to create by default or redshift. Thanks
I learn a lot from this tutorial and thank you! Can you also make a detailed tutorial on how to model and texture a cigarette pack. Thanks in advance Polygonpen!❤
When do you use Arnold and when Octane? Because I fell in love with the ease of use and easy photorrealism of Arnold but it's too slow on my PC... So now I use Redshift since it's a bit similar to Arnold (in the UI). But I don't like much the results I'm getting. I have to fiddle around a lot. The only thing better in Redshift than in Arnold is speed in myu opinion... I thhought about switching to Octane, but I've seen videos and the workflow of it seems very ugly... Do you think it's worth to switch? I will continue using RS as hobby, for stylized stuff. But for realistic stuff I don't know if stick with Arnold or invest hours learning Octane...
You should absolutely use octane, it looks a little complicated but you get used to it after a few projects, you will save a lot of times because it takes a few clicks to get realistic results.
just need a help: when I finished my 3d paint the texture and then copied the same model for a different design but the same layout size for texture, how do I change the texture. it seems that when I change the texture of copied model it also changes the texture of the first model.
Hi! amazing tutorial, but I have a question, I'm trying to put a transparent pattern on the box (im trying to put a pattern in a frosted plastic box), but when I paste the transparent pattern image in the material, it doesn't work, a white background appears, I would be so grateful if you could help me :))
Hi, thank you very much, transparent materials need an alpha image to be transparent ( Black and White image ) materials have a slot for that, it is called Alpha or Opacity, you need to put a alpha texture to these slots, if you use a single PNG with a transparent background, it is not gonna work.
@@polygonpen Thank you for answering!, yes I already done that, I'm trying to put the pattern as a label with cutout opacity in a plastic material but when I do this, my pattern looks like fade, do you might know what I'm doing wrong?
I would like if you could teach with this model how to render each part of the box and turn it into a muckup in photoshop, that would be great .... Help help bro.
Just rotate the box or camera, then render and save as, try to change package artwork by importing a new one then scale/skew/wrap the new artork to match perspective, you could try that.
What an excellent tutorial, this is the best 3D modeling channel. I love your tutorial, I would like to ask you a favor, I want to sell my models online, I would like you to make a tutorial like this and explain the steps of how to export the shadow to photoshop and how to assemble the muckup in photosop step by step to be able to sell it, thanks in advance I await your answer.
Thanks but this is a very long process you asked, you learn these steps as you progress, I am sure when you start to be good at modeling, selling/publishing won't be a problem.

Thank you so much, this tutorial helped me a lot!
You tutorials are gold polygonpen, Thank you.
I highly appreciate you making these tutorials. I truly hope one day your channel blow up. :)

Absolutely great tutorial. Do helpful. Thanks a lot!
You're a weird guy ( in a good way) love your videos! Thank you sir 🙏🏼

I don't use realflow though, but I may model/render/texture a Can
@@polygonpen if you can create a model and texture with uv for can and chips.
It would be great.. And if possible then chips animation as well.
Thanks
@@polygonpen And kindly try to create a video where we can learn how to create a model with a proper dimension. Thanks

As always! Great tutorial!
Thanks Bruno!
Thanks for such a useful video.
You helped me so much! Keep up the good work, cheers!
Thank you very much 🎉
This was a very useful tutorial. Thank you so much!
professionals stuff! well explained...thanks
amazing as always, but why you didn't use "fold my design"?
This is just an alternative.
5:06 I got the wrong windows after clicking UV workspace. How to make it the same as yours?
are you talking about layout, go to top right and slect UV layout again
Thanks a lot!! Really enjoy that one!
Thanks a lot for much useful stuff!👍

If I understand right, you should work on ain a new scene, so textures won't change.
@@polygonpen thank you very much for the reply and I also resolved the problem. Thanks again for your wonderful tutorials.
Nice video! Thank you
HDR Image Download Link please?
Good tutorial 😎
at 5:10 i cant move the texture or scale it. i am stuck at this part.
You may hit ''L'' on your keyboard.
Beautiful
i would like to apply, texture inside the box, how can i do that??
Thx for help
Select the inside polygons, right click on a material then apply.
Bro ur video always useful :D
it's so good so i left msg TWICE !!! love you

@@melissaperezpuga30 I don't unfortunately, you can check out label placement tutorial on TH-cam, I believe there is a good one on Greyscalegorilla.
Thank you!
u are the best
Thanks!
And how do you make the texture of this layout metallic? For example if I design a beer can
Look for metalic shader/material creation.
Can we make the same in Blender ?
Yeah, sure!
I have looked for many tutorials but no one teaches how to make a muckup using arnold render and photoshop.
Thanks
Thx a lot!
wait a minute.. if i use morph modifier at poligon layer.. means i can animated that box folding right?
I am not sure since Morph modifier only records points positions so yo may not get rotations, but you can try.
@@polygonpen owh yeah youre right.. i will try it first.. thank for tutorial btw. its really helpful

Can you show me how to modelling Durian fruit?
Maybe later but not in near future.
nice video
👏👏👍 practice me
tnx
its great but when you have fold my design available saves you a lot of time.
Yeah, probably but this is for education, sometimes you need to do yourself.
@@polygonpen true that not 100% accurate.
It looks good but inefficient, just think if you have to animate the box to how it's wrapping up or unwrapping, you can't do that.
Yeah, you are right, this is just for product rendering.
wow
and your'e next project will be?
Contiune to beginner series, it will be about beginner texture/render.

@@hopal6612 Rica ederim, alternatif olarak, daha hafif sistemler için real time Unreal Engine de kullanabilirsiniz, render için.
