I binged this about eight months and never looked back. Shounen genre is doing amazing with this series, Chainsawman, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Spy x Family, Jujutsu Kaisen and others leading the charge of the newest generation. Quality all around. Hope the same happens for seinen again.

To put it simply, Chiyoko's talent is in performing; Yonagi's talent is in BEING. That is, Chiyoko is constantly aware of the camera, and the audience behind it, and is incredibly good at using her actions and expressions to get the desired response. But she doesn't actually feel the emotions she simulates; she's like a dispassionate puppetmaster controlling her body, and she's hard to befriend because she's so used to performing she does it constantly, never opening up. Yonagi, meanwhile, has almost the opposite problem of being TOO genuine. She's almost like a computer running emulators of other machines -- she constructs the psychology of her character and falls into it almost completely, practically effortlessly, with only a small part of her mind remembering who she is, able to pull the plug. Self-hypnosis, almost. Which makes for very lifelike and compelling performances, but comes with a whole host of problems -- going off-script when it doesn't fit the psychology she's fallen into, or distracting a viewer from other actors, or not being *un*realistic in necessary ways, or not being able to find memories to draw on for emotional reference. All problems Chiyoko never has. (I've likened Yonagi before to Izuku -- her problem isn't power, it's control.) It makes for legitimately one of the best rivalries I've seen in manga. And as strong as the manga was early on? I seriously think the Princess Iron Fan arc is the best it's been.

I also started reading the manga around the same time you did, it's insanely interesting and so well written that I'm speechless. Currently on the Night of the Galactic Road arc which is amazing, made tear up a few times which doesn't happen often with me, really shows that it's amazingly written. Looking forward to seeing your future thoughts on it.
What i love about this series is that the artist draws so well the expresions that you dont really need to explain what the characters are feeling you just know it, i got the chills by just watching some of the faces in the panesl, and i fucking loved that

You should read the webtoons "Her Summon" or "A Returner's Magic Should be Special" they have a pretty amazing story and character development, especially for the mc in Her Summon
Please read the arc that stops at chapter 52, it's a true masterpiece and the way it treats its themes is so profound and layered! Be prepared to feel a lot of things!

Someone I remember (and this is not a joke jajajajaja) that did his own stunts and got hurt in the process of the movie was Jackie Chan. I dont remember the movie, but he jumped from a house on a truck and broke his leg. The film was delayed for almost 4 months. The thing is he still did the stunts when he came back

The series is great, and you'll be in for a treat with the next arcs. And the story is still young too, considering it's really only in the third big arc. There's still plenty to explore, so it means we should have this for a good while provided people continue to like it.
The Night of the Galactic Railway arc was the most inticing and breathtaking manga arc that I read. It was just so spectacular that I had goosebumps. It was just so fucking GOOD. It was really funny too, the Daikouten Theater company or something like that, i don't remember the name, or the cast was also really great too. Aota is so funny. And the scene where they play the play was just aughaghahdudjssvusisj I'm satisfied with my life.
Thank you chibi, for getting me into this because honestly, I'm not the type of person that would go for something like this, but I actually loved it. (This is my first drama manga)

I read 2 chapters and then skimmed over the next 4 or 5 and just couldn’t get into it. Used to be into more niche manga but over the past few years I’ve just stuck to more mainstream anime and manga, shame cause it sounds like it gets epic by the sounds of some of the comments I read here.

I've just finished it a few minutes ago. It's really good! It's a bit corny at first because of some farfetched descriptions but the story for me is overall refreshing and very interesting. The fmc is beautiful, a bit narcissistic and very odd. 😂 She is op but she still has a lot to learn about acting. The training she undergoes sometimes sound ridiculous to me but when she finally shows the fruits of her hard work, you'd be mesmerized. The story gets better each arc but I love the Princess Iron Fan arc the most. It turned full psychological in that one. There are a lot of predictable events but when the unpredictable ones happen, it will blow you away. Now I have wait with rest for the next chapters.😭😭😭😭 Btw, the title in romaji is read as akutaju. So maybe it's supposed to be read as act-ahzh?
