Curious if you've tested out the Luna by Fully? It appears to be similar to the Pivot. Fully makes a really great sit/stand desk that I've been using since 2019.
Are these really better for your back/health than a good adjustable ergo chair?? I'm trying to decide on a new chair/seat spurred on by current back pain... I have a standing desk and it's helped a lot, but as you said I can't stand all day...
Very impressed with BTOD in all categories, marketing outstanding & information provided exceptional. I feel very comfortable with making my purchases through BTOD. Looks to me as they look forward for long term business as opposed to most these days that do not care, just show me the money now.
The Focal Pivot has been the best office seat I have ever used. I didn't love it initially but two years later and my back health has been entirely restored. Having recently purchased a HAG Puls for longer content production sessions (read lots of typing) my back health has decreased. I'm glad I still have the Pivot and am questioning the HAG purchase... The only major issue with the Pivot has been the fact that the base slides on hardwood floors I have not been able to find a solution to this problem.
That is great to hear the Pivot has worked out. I liked that option as well, but the seats on many of the standing desk chairs/stools can leave a lot to be desired. If you're mixing it into your workday, they can be much more enjoyable. As far as the HAG Puls, we have all of the variations of the Capisco products and the Puls is the least favorite in the office. We do have one person who enjoys sitting in the Capisco with the padded saddle seat. Otherwise the rest of the office uses more typical ergonomic chairs for extended tasking/sitting -GK
@@btodtv I like the Puls the issues I have with it are really more around sitting in general, I can feel my body getting into that unhealthy slouch right away. With the Pivot its nearly impossible to slouch assuming it was raised to the correct height. If they ever improved the base to actually grip on smooth surfaces I'd upgrade in an instant. I have considered the Mobis II as a replacement to it is its base as prone to sliding?
@@gohumanpowered1543 Have you tried to buy a kitchen floor mat? Those rubbery ones. I think that it will help. You can search for some one tone color or harmonic color go with your floor.
Pivot by Focal has a similar issue as the Mogo by Focal; if you extend, the seat starts to slip. This issue is much bigger over the hard floor than the carpet. Pivot by focal slips very few over carpets, but you might need to put something additional to protect your carpet because of the seat's base movement friction. On the hard floor, I need to use the wall to avoid the seat starting to slip, and you need to put additional protection to avoid damage on the wall.
Very interesting...but. I can visualize finding these at garage sales, flea markets, Goodwill etc in the near future. The Mogo looks like a cane with a seat at the top, way overpriced.
