Give it a try playing d note on open d string, not fifth fret on string a. Fru plays like that and it sounds more "open" and "fresh" in my book. Just my two cents, good job brotha
I did notice that he played an open string there, but it was very hard for me to get that sound the way he does without playing other open strings and muffling the sound of the riff. A little more practice and I'll have it down. Thank you very much!
