Really informative! As a humble goose making stoopid videos myself, I've been wanting to try modpacks like these but finding all the information you need to just get started has been pretty tough. You did a great job with this putting all the info into clear sections and not waffling 🔥
the reason why the structure maps don't work normally is due to the First Person Model mod, the one which lets you see your own body, by pressing F6 you disable it. There's a way to fix this issue and it should be either a mod or a resource pack called "Not Enough Animation"
What did you fine helpful about this guide? Was there anything that I didn't explain enough, or didn't even mention at all and you'd like to learn more? Comment below!
Oh, man! I struggled yesterday, more than 9 hours! And at 1am I was killed by pillagers on the boat, just like in your video - and I got back to spawn with nothing. I like challenges and everything - but that was TOO MUCH. And you posted this video same day! Thanks! I guess I'll start over again today!
Smelting ore does work actually. I rushed mining to the level where I can get copper, then since they drop tons of ore, I just put a hopper above a furnace and smelted them for passive points.
11:36 (surprised I actually knew somethinng before I saw this lol) it doesnt show because basically clicking f6 toggles between the vanilla holding stuff (idk what to call it) and the modded (where it shows ur arms and basically just everything better animated) 14:07 there is a much better bucket I found which is just a wooden bucket that doesnt break, it’s in aged and it’s 2 planks and a plank slab (slab on bottom) in a bucket shape. Sadly I’m past the point where the XP part would be useful (already gotten too deep into the warrior job to want to change), but this is a very good guide for people in general, even taught me about the dungeons thing and my friend (he played before but this is my first) told me dungeons are good for xp.
I have been working on my own modpack for 1.12.2 as I wanted to create a world that is sort of along the lines of RLcraft but tamer. The modpack takes 3200 MBs of RAM to run and has 75 mods in the pack. I wanted to design a pack that is a bit more challenging than the vanilla version. If you would like to try out the pack, I can send the link to it via email or discord.
I think TH-cam is linking the short right now because that was uploaded before the actual video. I have linked the video to the short, so hopefully that helps with people looking for the video!
i would like to try these types of modpacks but, how do i install without mod loader and how to keep my other mods working in another version without corrupting anything
To make a bamboo pump, you'll first need to be at Farming 14, as you need an iron bucket, unless you can manage to find one in a structure somewhere. You'll need two bamboo, two smooth stone slabs, and an iron bucket. You can also find this recipe by looking up bamboo pump in the search bar while accessing your inventory in the very bottom of the screen. Hope this was helpful!
Are you upgrading your Alchemy skill? I personally haven't done too much in regard to brewing potions or anything like that, but definitely think that would attribute to making better potions
Did you make sure to have the Farmer job selected as shown in the video? As you level up the Farmer job you will be rewarded small amounts of XP that will help you.
What kind of crops were you tryin to harvest? That's strange that you weren't receiving any XP. I've noticed that sometimes it takes harvesting a lot of crops at a time to get the most value out of the Farmer job.
@sphyss That's strange, I know there are some crops that don't work, like melons, pumpkins and sugarcane, but everything else should work. Maybe try unselectinf the job and reselecting?
You can install the modpack on a server, I personally have not tried to do it though. On a Fabric server, throw the Aged modpack jar into there and any other dependencies, and that should work!

I am all too familiar with those damn pillagers! I'm glad that you found my guide helpful though!
high quality vid 🔥

bring more, this modpack is cool
20:04 there are more eyes (cryptic, undead, evil, exotic) so you dont have to get those 12 specifically
I only put this at decent because, I might just have to watch this again, you actually went on a tangent away from campfires
You’re absolutely right! I got distracted by explaining starting tools 😅

90 slots sounds miniscule when in my create world i have a backpack with 800k stone in it
Decent guide. Shame it ain't linked yet, but the search through TH-cam only leads to your short, not this video, sadly

The way that I do it is through the Modrinth app. Helps keep my mod/modpack instances separate.
i cant find out how to make a bamboo pump

i wanna ask that how to increase brewing levels

Time to dry - Prepared Hide is 10 min and Rotten Leather is 15 min. Leather is super hard to make and you must have Smithing 6!
ive been farming but my farming level hasnt been going up and ive been farming like everything, is there a reason behind that or
Did you make sure to have the Farmer job selected as shown in the video? As you level up the Farmer job you will be rewarded small amounts of XP that will help you.
@ZmanPlaysGames it was my only job selected but it was stuck at level 2 with 37 xp
What kind of crops were you tryin to harvest? That's strange that you weren't receiving any XP.

@@ZmanPlaysGames all the base game crops so it kind of confused me

How to I play with friends in this??

get the essential mod
Can I get it in bedrock
Unfortunately, I don't think the modpack is built for bedrock version.
Fake Zman, you ain’t no Zeezus
