Italeri Plastic WWII German Infantry AKA Bolt Action Blitzkrieg German Infantry [28mm]

- Here's another look at one of Italeri's 28mm / 1:56 scale kits produced in conjunction with Warlord. This time the WWII German infantry. This plastic kit is the same as Warlord's Bolt Action Blitzkrieg German Infantry kit.
Assembly was quite easy and I didn't have any problems, though the cost relative to the warlord version of this kit is a bit of an issue.
At any rate my German army finally has some infantry! Suggestions for cool, good quality german infantry would certainly be appreciated!

Herbert, Great video. I've been watching your videos for a few months now and really appreciate your humor and self deprecation. Keep it up! I have the bolt action Blitzkrieg German starter kit and found them to be quite versatile and offering good variety. I've built a squad of twelve and am having a great time playing with my toys. Would love to see your interpretation of painting these figures. You are absolutely right about the price of the Italeri kits. A bit high. Perhaps because you live on an island???
It probably does have something to do with the "Australia tax" It's odd that the italeri tank kits are cheaper than the warlord ones though which makes me think it's something else. Or just random.
Herbert Erpaderp I think the difference is because those tank kits are actually produced by Italeri, while the infantry kits are produced by Warlord :)
FYI on the mg 38 gunner you placed the gas mask upside down, the thing sticking off the gas mask is a bayonet it should be pointing down not up towards his head......one other thing, try using sprue goo this fills any gaps really well.
The helmetless head looks too like a German Actor who played a secondary character in The Battle of the Bulge, to be specific, it was the personal aide of Robert Shaw's character.
Would be nice to have them in 1/32 scale!

I have lots of problem making infantry plus I like tanks more so I have huge tank armies assisted with some infantry and anti tank guns

hey maybe someone else has said this by now but that's not how that kind of glue is meant to be used. Since it's really thinned down, you place the to parts you're gluing next to each/where you want them, then you squeeze in a bit of glue at the seam. If the glue was thicker then what you're doing in the video would be the right way to do because then it would squeeze out a bit and weld the seams you have shut.

It works perfectly fine the way I'm using it... In fact I do also use it the way you mention. Both ways of gluing, perfectly fine.

It’s a Gas Mask Can not box. There are these things called books and there are some on the subject German WWII Field Gear, I would recommend one or Two of these for you. No you not a Nit Wit, you are a benefit to us and entertaining. Thank you Herb!
