Great stuff mate. I love the guy dressed as the nun. A great figure and really nicely painted. Never apologise for enthusiasm by the way. It’s a good thing and if anyone has an issue with it, they’re the one with the problem. Look after yourselves anyway. Jim🙂
Thanks for watching Jim, glad you like the undercover nazi agent in the nuns outfit 😂. We’ve been adding a bit more to this project which we will show soon, hope your keeping well 👍
Hi Lee, fantastic looking figures as always, would love to see the mini campaign working, really like the early actions. Good to hear all the family are feeling better.
Thank you very much Joe. As I said in the video, I followed the idea from a video on Tabletop CP channel and adapted it by doing a couple more highlights. Thanks for watching 😁👍
Looking good mate. I have to do some early war Belgians at some stage. I bought them. Need to paint them 😀. I like to see start and finish vids mate. None of that in between painting stuff. Stay safe.
Many thanks Francesco, we all admire and follow your work on here and Facebook. If you would like to see more, we have done a showcase recently of the whole force. 😁👍
Fantastic brushwork Lee. They look great. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I would certainly like to follow your project step by step if you have the time to post your videos. Early War is my favourite period of WWII and I have just finished reading Tim Saunders' book on the Arras counter attack by Pen and Sword. A great read. If you haven't read it and want the ISBN number just let me know. I am about to restart my early French after a break due to loss of mojo, but thanks to watching your vids and the vids from Ste. Ross from On Point HQ my enthusiasm has returned! Thanks for the boost! Congrats again on a great job! Very much looking forward to seeing more. Best wishes Keith
Hi Keith, hope you are well. We are sorry to hear you’ve had a loss of mojo, but we can certainly understand as it’s does happen to us trying to balance real life and hobby. We are pleased that watching our video as well as Stes, you got your enthusiasm back. 👍 I sometimes can’t help showing my real excitement and enthusiasm for a project, especially when you care so much for it. We are pleased you like the figures so far and we hope you will enjoy the follow up vids. 😁 I enjoyed watching your video on your French as it was what helped spur us on with this. Yeah the Tim Saunders book is very good, with lots of little details that I’ve not found elsewhere. We have posted a second video and we have now created a playlist which will have all the videos for this project in. Thanks again Lee
BattleBunkerBlog Gaming Group Thanks Lee. I'm fine and glad to hear that you and yours are too. I'll checkout the playlist and be sure to watch your future vids too. Stay well. Keith
Yes, I'm not an assembly guy. I'm building my first ever 28mm at the moment. They're not as bad as I thought, but it is an interesting process. You're painting is pretty amazing.
Hi John, thanks for watching. Yes it was, we used a plastic 40mm Warlord Games base which we cut in half. This will be used to make two of these bases. Next, we used a plastic 25 x 50mm Warlord Games base which we trimmed off one of the long edges to match up with the previous 40mm base which we cut down. Glue both bases together and your done. Hope that helps 👍
They look good Lee, although I don't know why they need to look so active as they will always be hiding behind a frikkin' wall! 😁 Seriously though mate, glad you are all well and cracking work as usual.
Hi Jason, hope you and the family are well mate. As you well know, mate, my engineers are normally well forward of my main force ensuring that full protection is in place for my troops 😂😂😂😂.
100% agree with wanting you figures to have dynamic poses on the table. The blitzkrieg kit is one of the more difficult ones to do with all those separate arms and weapons. Nice work on these minis. I've got some early war Danes on order for WW2 and I went and ordered some North Koreans after drinking a couple of brews and checking out some sales. What kind of tripod are you using at the beginning or was someone filming you? I've been accused of shaky cam in my videos and I'm looking to remedy that.
Thanks for watching and we a glad you what we are trying to achieve with this build. The Danes sound interesting, 😂😂 dangerous move having a few beers and then ordering bits 😂😂 funny though. I used to use a tripod all the time, but found it clunky to use for some filming. So I ordered a gimbal to use with my phone and when filming a talking head shot, I set the gimbal on face tracking. So, if I turn to pick something up, the camera will follow etc. The gimbal I bought was the Zhiyun Smooth Q2, hope that helps. 👍
Hi, thanks for watching and your question. No none of the decals come in the infantry set, we bought them separately from the Warlord Games website. Hope that helps 👍
Well, I am thinking of getting early war Germans kit with soviet weapon sprues for kit bashing Finnish infantry. I got the idea from Warlord games's community's articles, where writer shared his kit bash project of plastic Finnish infantry from Blitzkrieg germans and soviet weapons.
Very nice Lee and Mel 👍👍 Great painting. Looking forward to the CoC campaign
Thanks Karl, glad you like them so far mate 😁👍
Laughter… that nun with the grenade is awesome… great stuff guys!
Thanks Michael, yeah it’s a great figure that’s a lot of fun to play in Chain of Command Blitzkrieg supplement 😂.

interesting basing with the LMG - 2 bases stuck together?

Where are the decals on their helmets from? They don't seem to be included in the blitzkrieg infantry set.

That sounds like a good idea, they will great when you’ve done them. 👍
