    That back top box is perfect for carrying a drone and doubles up as a take off and landing pad 👍

    Hi Ive just stumbled across your channel, and being late 50's,and just booked my CBT, I am pleased to see your reviews of learner legal bikes that arent budget busters. Keep up the good work.

    It would be really useful if you mentioned service intervals in these reviews, the old terrain had really short 1200 mile intervals but I understand the new Terrain has longer ones, cost of running the things seems to be left out of most TH-cam channels reviews.

    These, in my opinion, are nice looking bikes. When you were out on it, wide shot, with the white bike and silver boxes, and your white helmet, it definitely gave off police bike vibes. I I guess that’s because it looks similar to the Honda NC750P which is a police bike I see out a lot at the moment where I live.
    Great review, videos constantly improving.

    Now we are talking, but still, would like it better when they use the allowed 15 horsepower to its fullest to make more torque. Because i'm heavy.

    Appreciate you doing this review! I'm the opposite being 6' 5" and new. I've not managed to find a 'newer' 125cc motorcycle that's anywhere near this bike's size. It seems to be the best option out there?

    Shame Sinnis didn't add ABS braking...£85 for a bigger plastic box, lol...Zontes are the better deal now :-)

      @@maskedavenger2578 the brakes are linked anyway so there is no opportunity to learn individual brake use, most 125's are set this way nowadays, and speaking as someone who has a 125 with linked brakes and no abs I would definitely pay a few extra quid for abs.

Was thinking zontes. But not shure on reliability? Maybe an aprilia rx for a bit of green laning to.. i had a 2018 sinnis terrain and i didnt like it one bit. Underpowerd to the point it was dangerous and to many breakdowns.. build quality was shocking.. dont no if its improved any now???

    Hello, I have a question about my crash helmet, do you have any remedy for the helmet slipping down over my vision, the foam inside has obviously worn, causing this to happen. A balaclava maybe?

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, Maybe a balaclava will help. However if you can afford it, maybe £60-£70 I would get another helmet as it seems it is too big to be effective and a balaclava will not be nice during the summer.

      Check out the Cyclone RX motorcycles, they are sold in Australia, by a company called CSC Motorcycles apparently. The Sinnis Terrain is based on the Cyclone RX1 (euro 5 might be based on the RX1S I don’t know). There is also the Cyclone RX3, and RX4 which have bigger engines. I think Sinnis also import one of those as their 380 model.

    Any chance you could do a review of 125 scooters for the short.? I'm thinking of doing a CBT, but being only a shade over 5ft...(155cm).I have concerns that pretty much anything I like the look of will be just to big. Being able to properly touch the ground for a beginner is essential. I get annoy when folks in videos say "if your short like 5ft 7/8..you'll be ok"... 5ft 7/8 is NOT short!

    • @garethadamson2393
      @garethadamson2393 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, just for info, my wife had the same worries, and is just tipping 5ft, but has no problems riding a Honda pcx 125. Trick is not to focus on trying to touch the floor with both feet at same time, you simply use one foot (left normally) to take the weight. My wife is mid 40s only weighs 8stone, and has no issues.

      @@garethadamson2393 Thank You Gareth for your reply. I lost my partner to cancer in 2017 and have been suffering depression. i was hoping to maybe get a scooter to get out as I have no friends so don't get out unless it's for a walk or shopping. I was thinking a 125 would get me out and distract me by visiting places beyond just a walk away. But I lack confidence as my health is not great. I am (was) used to holding up a weight with my left foot as we used to ride a tandem and I would hold the bike up at the lights etc..so know what you mean.

    Waited for this release for a long time, if anything the video has made it even more likely one will be joining the stable in the foreseeable. There's no SInnis dealer in the local area, going a fair way for initial purchase is not a concern but do Sinnis allow a local registered bike dealer to carry out scheduled services so as to keep any warranty?

      As said many many times before, a lot of these bikes are down to how they are looked after and treated. I know of 3 year old Terrains, used daily that still look as good as new. I know of 2010 Keeway Superlights that still shine and still work perfectly...Sadly as they are cheaper than the main Japanese brands (despite them being made anywhere except Japan, including China); they tend to get abused and not maintained/serviced as they should be.
