    Thank you so much buddy, I fixed it, my front wheel valve was locked by some red rubber. I removed it and then put slime. Now working superb fine. Thanks a lot.

    I just got my first puncture from a rusty tack near Sunnybank. I'll follow your instructions, and also take the scooter for a tetanus shot.

    did the tire slime react to the original tire sealant that the ninebot tires comes with already? how long did the fix last?

  • @shannonconley2730
    @shannonconley2730 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’ve inspected my tire, the original black goo come from the rim part, I don’t see no hole at all but when I fill tire it seems to release air from same hole after pump stops, any suggestions? I’m gonna use brake cleaner, put slim in and replace valve, maybe that should work?

    Thanks for the video. I am about to do this. How long did your repair last? Would you do anything differently? How come you didn't use a prevent & repair slime?

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey there. Thanks for watching. Great questions. It continues to work and I haven’t had any further issues with punctures. I don’t believe I need to do anything different for my personal use, this has been the perfect solution for me. To be honest. I hadn’t heard of the prevent and repair option. Thanks again. Hope this helps.

    I had of hit by a car and that had busted my tire would this work the same way?

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably not. This is best for smaller punctures. I would suggest taking it to a bike mechanic they maybe able to assist.

  • @bbgaming4285
    @bbgaming4285 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    My tire just got flat today, valve doesn't make any noise of it leaking, and can't seem to find a puncture
    If there's a really small puncture can it empty the air of the tire in 3 mins?, because that's what mine does

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. Thanks for watching and reaching out. It is possible. However try wiggling valve to make sure it’s not the valve itself.
      If nothing is evident, try the slime.

    I had a question: does the car tire plug work? I have had a nail in tire and once I removed it it has a slow leak.

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question Vasu. I personally wouldn’t do it. I would take the tire to a car tire shop and have them do the repair. Or even try a bicycle shop and see if they can repair the puncture.

  • @VVV953

    I used the slime, it didn't work, is it possible there's different versions of the slime, when I pump up the tire up with air, the air starts leaking out before I even take out the valve, do I need like a tire repair kit perhaps? Sorry for bothering you my man but I'm really in a Jam

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there V1000. Thanks for watching. There are different versions. U need a tubless tire slime. I got mine from our local auto parts dealer and they advised the one I got.

    What happened if it just blew out some of the sealant from riding on low pressure? I tried refilling it but it slowly leaks around the rim still

    • @jmadera_6
      @jmadera_6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like you may have damaged it riding on a flat..? If you haven't fixed it yet, try pumping it up and lay it on the side it's leaking and slowly rotate it for 20-30 minutes adding air as necessary... That *might* fix it

    hey bro my wheel like won’t pump up coz there’s like barely any air and when i pump it it would hold for a day or two then loose psi but now air just won’t go in the wheel bc there’s barely air i think i got a small puncture

    • @TheWannabeGeek
      @TheWannabeGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey LiaMorlzx, thanks fro watching. The issue could be a couple of things, it could be a small puncture, however it could be the valve itself and it may need replacing which I have had to do on both my scooters for the same reason. You may need to try pumping and listening to hear where the air is escaping if possible.
      Thanks again, hope this helps.
