I noticed you can get a oem grommet clip to fix that area that is missing the pop clip front passenger side. 66282FE020 I think that is the part number. Some of the WRX should already have it.
Yes however there is no connection under there. So if you get the buttons you can install them but they won’t be plugged in anywhere. You gotta wire it in which involves some tricks
@@xil3ntkha0s did you buy the seats or did the car already have them? Because if you buy the seats then it’s not plug and play. The harness is under the center console but the 2 wires to connect the buttons are not there. You need to cut and solder some stuff and rewire just to get it to work
@@chavascap6482 hey man! I'm having some confusion but do u know the difference between the part#s cuz my subaru dealer is having a hard time so the part # u got for the sti tray piece that goes on top the cupholder part # 92136FG100VH doesn't fit for a 2018STI cuz the dealer told me that the right part # is 92136FG110VH cuz I also bought the 2018 STI shifter trim and the SI module too so just wnaa make sure I buy the correct one
@@chavascap6482 so the part # u put for that tray doesn't fit supposedlly on a 2018sti but I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't cuz I bought a SI (DCCD) module for 53 bucks from a 2018 STI so im worried that maybe the module is different from a 2017? I would of figured that all 15+STI would all have the same DCCD module
@@chavascap6482 hey just a update the tracking # u posted is the right console trim cuz I don't have heated seats and theres no holes where if u did have heated seats wouldn't work
Did this console have the rear facing cup holders in it?
This is awesome 😊
Super sick man mad props on this

Great video!
Are the little covers for the heated seat switches removable?

Nice. I already have heated seats so it's plug and play for me. I just didn't want to have to dremel if I didn't have to.

Can you do this in a 2011 WRX?
@@John.97Obs idk this for 2015-2017
When u bought the sti tray doea it come with the covers so u don't have holes where the heated seat buttons would be? Since I have a base model wrx?
Orlando Farias yeah it comes covered

Looks nice great work, It's been 2 years since his. Did you ever find like a cover or a change holder that you can put there instead of the Si drive?
No i haven’t looked into it
@@chavascap6482 okay
Long shot you see this but the 2022 wrx change pocket is a direct fit to the SI drive you can buy one from subaru for like $10 🤝
@@SimplyTrashed thank you
@@SimplyTrashed part number? Thx
How’s the height of the compartment arm rest? On my stock 2019 it’s uncomfortably low, is it the same for the STi?
Sherwin Cezar not really i have an extension that i got on subispeed!
Great Job
Why do we need the new box? Also will the Si drive controller lights light up? (Is the Si drive plugged in to at least light it up at night?)
Do you need to buy the compartment box?
Yes
Hi there, is the si module working?
Sylas Jiang no its just there to cover the whole
