Super tutoring. I wish i find more solo lessons like this guy has put it. Either most are too slow in teaching that they bore the hell out of me or they are so fast in teaching that they think everyone is a joe sat.
It's 2022, my 8yo son finally nailed Buried Alive solo thanks to this guy. His tutorial is very visual, so that even children can take and practice it.

This is terrible tbh,. Beginning with lick 3 you have a blend of alt, legato, and sweeps, and he just plays each lick with those variegated techniques, and then slows it down with all alternate picking, with tab that doesn't tell you the suggest the techniques. For a solo this difficult, one would need to explain precisely how each lick is attacked and why. For example lick 3... the 7-9-10 is a hammer on, and while doing that part, you must sneak your trailing index finger down to the next string to fret that 9th fret and position it for the next hammer on. It's very awkward at first and will take a long time to nail that line, and then line 4 is sweeps.

Hate to down anyone but yes "4th lick" is supposed to be sweeps in 5tuple groups. There arent any repeated single string notes there.

Just wondering if any of you can tell me how long you had to buckle down and practice this before nailing or at least playing it to tempo? I have been playing rhythm for about 10 years, and have stayed away from lead because I get discouraged easily.

Attack On Senpai I would do something like "so far away". It's a fairly easy solo that's pretty fun to play.

Its all alternate Picking in this section so no Hammer on or pull offs . But its tempting to do that though

I say to practice sweep picking first then come back to this part, even if it is just the very basics of sweep picking it will help
You can sweep pick third string to one make it (14,13,12,17,12,)(14,13,12,16,12)(14,13,12,15,12 ) more easy and sound the same, also practice this way but its dificult and i dont know if its realy well... if you can not do it one way try another its basicly the same. Playing guitar its amazing so much posibilities.
So hard to reach that speed :(
I know I'm a year late, but take a practice. Do it everyday and you'll start speeding up
What is the N.A thing
It's hard to adapt the feel (example 3rd lick) because you did not put which note falls at the beginning of every beat. There's 16th notes and 16th note triplets on the record. It's not constant 4 notes per beat. Maybe you still need to put that drum beat background at slow mo.

I cant make my guitar sound good, I just cant do it, it always sounds too acoustic even when i turn distortion all the way up
Try switching it to treble and turing up the tone one your guitar
Need a new setup as well probably. New amp or pedal. I had the same problem awhile back and found out, it was just the amp.
