I never knew you were a motorcycle guy, I have a ninja 650, and instantly knew why you would want a little fast bike as well there's nothing quite like it.
I was part of a group of guys in the Bryan / college station area in Texas that would get together and race hopped up RSF350s We couldn't get 60 miles per hour, but more like 25 to 30 maybe. One tip that I would leave you with is to get some taller bars, like off of the larger dirt bike model. I did this and it helped out a lot with cornering. I haven't finished the video, so if you've done this next part, ignore me. Cut the pegs off at the mount, and weld them higher up and a little further back. This will give you a lot more cornering clearance
I used a 110cc tao tao quad frame and a predator 212cc with stage 5 mods. That thing was geared so high that it would do 75 with my knees touching my elbows and i could easily pick the entire thing up and fit it in the hatchback of my small SUV. I also built out 2 DB30's with the same exact engines. You should definitely find a 110cc tao tao frame, strip the plastics like I did, and do an electric build with one. Theyre insanely fun compared to mini bikes, mainly because you can ride on 2 side wheels, wheelie, and drift it. They come stock with a foot brake and thumb throttle. Thumb throttles are superior to twists dont forget. Way better handling even on mini's.
I have an mx500 that I’ve modified. It’s got an upgraded battery, motor, sprocket, throttle, and a few other things. It’s honestly more fun to rip that through town with my buddies than when we ride our big bikes! Crazy how easy it is to get your riding friends to get minis too once they try yours (:
Sick build since it's technically street legal being electric, but that's not a motorcycle, I'd love to see it go against a 300cc sport bike or even a 600, being so light it could be faster off launch but lose top end, I need to see it
