This feature only works for few videos of youtube and only if you open settings app from notification panel when a video is playing, its totally depended on videos that youtube allow pip. (Works properly on The Deshbhakt channel videos)
My TH-cam app started doing something similar today when I try to close a video, it doesn't close but stays as a small tile on top of the screen and I have to do an extra click to get it to close. I don't know if I changed some setting accidentally or they changed something in the app. I don't use (or want) this feature and I checked my picture in picture setting again and it's still turned off in my settings. Anyone else notice this? Is there a way to put it back like before?

Permanent solution clear storage. Had a bunch of apps installed I deleted them so I can download pokemon ultra moon rom hack and that somehow fixed it my phone is faster and I haven't had any problems.
