    Thanks a lot for the videos. I picked up a 1000sx last summer and your videos have been great!

    Very well shot video with a great step by step! Hopefully other Kawasaki bikes are pretty similar. I imagine they would be for a tank removal.

      Thank you! Yes, most will be very similar. Not much has changed in the way they do gas tank setups for many years. I know my 636 was set up the same way.

    Excellent video, thank you. I have to replace my entire tank with a new one. I assume it's okay to removed the tank pivot bolt(s) instead of the bracket bolts, or would make the process more difficult?

      Should be about the same. Just be careful not to dig the tank on the bracket when reinstalling

    Great video! But I have a question abort torque values on the front and real tank bolts ? :)

    • @BlueEyedRider84
      @BlueEyedRider84  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no specific torque on those bolts. They are 6mm bolts, and the default torque spec on 6mm bolts from the service manual is 8.0 Nm, 0.82 kgf-m, 71 in-lb. I'd use good judgment on how tight you think they should be.
