Wow! What a Masterpiece by Chick Corea. And I'm in complete awe of/by your transcription. I was sitting here trying to come up with a not so talented child's version of improvisation and getting no where but frustrated. Now I'm going to look at this like a classical piece and learn this transcription. It will take me endless years but I'm going to try . Thanks man and always to Master Corea. Whew!
Great job Rowan, I also studied back in the day at Middlesex University, only did 1 year though, remember doing transcription class with the crazy Stuart Hall! You have some awesome transcriptions here, need to go through them all. Well done doing this one. One of my favourite ever recordings of Chick Corea, have always loved this version of Lush Life and nice to see the sheet music to it! Keep up the good work!
Great transcription.... Interesting how he drastically changes the most import distinctions between the 1st a 2nd A section harmonic and melodic landing points. He goes to E both times whereas the 2nd time it should go to F Major.
The way I obsessed over Chick's version of this growing up, it's a magical thing to see such a beautifully executed transcription. BRAVO!!

seems to me that the opening is just in free time and not changing signature every few bars, but other than that truly excellent transcription work!
