I have a Google Pixel 6a and have my digital key in my Google Wallet. I use the NFC function to open/lock and turn my car on. It's great!
Wonderful. Now we know it works with Google wallet too. Thanks for sharing. I have both Samsung Wallet and google wallet on my phone. I wonder why the byd app chose Samsung Wallet. Maybe because it's my default payment app.
One needs a pretty new phone though

wow, your registration was much more straightforward than mine.. It asked me to enter a code provided by BYD before I could register my digital key.. and the "put your phone in the charging pad" misled me several times as you have to put your phone in the centre armrest NFC reader not on the charging pad.. I had to remove my phone from the protective case for the inside NFC to work.. but eventually got it working..
Enter a code? Do you mean you have to contact byd to get a code?

I am not sure and haven't tried. Hopefully, someone can confirm.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Atto3, 23 model, and DO NOT have access to the Digital Key, but am picjing up my Seal 24 Model Premium in Oct which I will have access to the Digital Key, will get back to you with an update when it arrives.
It's very good to know Atto3 doesn't have digital key. I am sure a lot of viewers who are considering Seal and Atto3 will appreciate this.
NFT- physical card or Digital key - does it work without taking the manual key . or just the physical card key . peoples thoughts ?
Writing from Mexico City. Here in Mexico BYD is selling cars that are officially suipporting NFC digital keys. Buy... first, getting the app enabled after you get your new car is a pain, real pain !... After you accomplish that, it turns that NFC keys are not yet enabled, despite all brochures, publicity, web site and sales people preach about the NFC cards for cars sold in Mexico by BYD (which is oficially present in Mexico, by the way).
So, could it be that a software update is needed? In the cars? the BYD app itself?
Anyway, hope that BYD notices that things are not working as easy, smooth and nice as us, new customers would love. Ads and pre-sale material speak about NFC keys...so, maken them available to your customers, for real ! The user experience and user satisfaction is important and must be important to you.

For some reason my Samsung s24+ wallet doesn’t read the NFC? Any idea? Keeping in mind all NFC services are working fine with my phone.

I have a Samsung 10plus but not able to pair the phone to the car [byd seal]maybe it's not supported by Samsung phone could be old or I'm doing the procedure incorrectly any comments appreciated.
Make sure you have both Samsung Wallet app and byd app installed on your phone. If you have both and still cannot setup then perhaps it's too old.
It works fine on a Pixel Pro 6
It's great to know other Android phone works, too.
I have a Samsung S21+ but Samsung Wallet is not available in my region (L/EU). And it won't work with Google Wallet...
