- This video is an introduction to what encompasses a comprehensive genomic panel. It will start with a brief definition of comprehensive genomic profiling. It will then go on to describe the sample types that can be utilized, what variant types are commonly investigated, number of genes and targets typical to a panel, and why you would want to bring such an assay in-house versus sending samples out.
