    Hi, could you tell me something... my standard coffe (latte) at home have 370 ml. I dont know which one to buy - middle one or bigger one? If instruction says 355 or 470, so this is max?

    Hi Shaun,
    Thanks for the review. I'm thinking of buying one of these as my car has a really short coffee cup holder. Doe the cup have to be fully extended to use?

      @ThatSomethingLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gareth Rees In theory, you could use it slightly collapsed, but I think it would be a little fiddly in honesty. In the video, when I’m having a coffee served up for me, the barista doesn’t actually have my cup fully extended so it’ll fit in his machine, so it can be done. For a car specifically, I don’t think it’ll fit in your cup holder if it isn’t fully extended as the sides will overlap and make it too wide. You’d probably be better off going for the smaller sized cup Stojo offers.

    Hi! Can you drink bubble tea with the straws on stojo biggies?

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hi Jodada, that's a really good question! I had a quick look on Amazon to see how big a "bubble tea straw" is and the details tend to specify a 10-11mm diameter. I'm not sure if that's from measuring the outer edge of the straw or inside, but I can say the Stojo straw is 10mm in diameter if you measure it from the outside and about 8mm wide on the inside. I would imagine it should be okay to use for bubble tea. Let me know how you get on!

      @@ThatSomethingLife Thank you for your reply Shaun! After your response I got a stojo biggie for myself actually. I found that for most bubble teas the straw could suck the bubbles up, just not very well! At least it's possible, so I am not complaining ^_^

      jodada Ah, that’s excellent! Glad to hear you’re able to use the straw. Thanks for coming back to let me know. At least we can help let other people know as well now

    Hello! I was wondering if your Stojo gets static and tends to attract dust or small particles quickly? Especially with black. I have a black one too and that seems to be my problem. It gives it a dirty appearance :(

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Catherine Rose T. Interesting! If I wash mine and leave it to air dry, it looks clean. If I use a cloth to wipe it dry, then it ends up covered in fibres. It’s hard to know how much of mine is static as I keep it in my work bag so it’s constantly getting knocked about. Although, it doesn’t look brand new, it’s aged well. When I filmed this video, I’d had the cup for quite a while and it still looks great!

    Hey it’s such a informative video! Thanks so much, but is it safe for really ‘hot’ coffee? Reminding it made by rubber hehe

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, that would depend on how hot you plan on making your drinks? Mine is totally fine if I pour a drink straight from the kettle after it's reached boiling point.

    has anyone bought the 24oz one? I plan to use it for boba drinks that are 700ml, but im afraid if the liquids will spill over.

    Does the rubber change taste of your drinks?

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't say I've noticed a change in taste but at the same time, I've had mine for quite a while now so I'd be used to any differences (if any).

      In the begining. I'd say it had a very strong silicone smell. I let it soak in hot soapy water and washed it well a couple of times. After about a month of use i could not taste the difference between drinking water from a glass and the cup. So coffee is even less apparent. Just be sure to get that fresh silicone smell out before using it cause oof. Tho it has kept up looking brand new (with a good crevess clean with a toothpick like once a week)

    Hi! Kinda thinking of buying this cup but I have concerns with it being silicon/rubbery
    I'm afraid that since it isn't as hard as plastic or metal it might stumble or topple :((

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s pretty sturdy! I’ve never knocked mine over. 🤞🏼 It has a plastic coffee collar/sleeve which helps keep it rigid too.

      It's light but not super light when it's full it's really hard to get it to fall over but i can turn it upside down with the lid closed with scalding coffee in there and it dosen't leak a single drop.

  • @verveblack
    @verveblack 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    how come some pics of the cup show a straw? you have to take lid off to collapse? but having to wash it before storing it back in a bag sucks.

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It comes with a straw but I don’t really use it, in all honesty. If I’m out and about, the only reason the lid comes off is to pour the drink in. I just collapse it once I’ve finished my drink and wash it when I get home.

      @@ThatSomethingLife without the straw if put on a desk & it tips over with just the lid...will stuff leak?

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      electroboy It has a silicone cover to help seal where you drink from. I wouldn’t say it’s 100% water tight, but even without the straw, as long as you have everything tightly closed, it should be fine.

      @@jeannefregil9248 nope as long as the silicone cover is dry(ish) i'd call it sealed. Never had a drop fall out.

    Mine leaks :( any tips? I want to love it but I am always covered in coffee

    • @ThatSomethingLife
      @ThatSomethingLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      mks Where is it leaking? If it’s the side walls, you’ll need a replacement as it sounds like the silicone has split. If it’s the lid, I would suspect it’s just the design to a certain degree. It’s not 100% leak proof, but at the same time, I’ve had any leaks when using it. Oh! Actually, if I put it away in my bag after using it (folded), it can sometimes leak if there is a small amount of liquid left in it. When it’s folded, the mouth cover never fully closes/covers the hole so that will be a cause for sure.
