@Cozy RC I have a Deltan force hull and need motor and other electric parts to it so do you have some sites or places where i can find something🤔 You have oossom boats💯👍🏻
Not that i want to intervere on this channel because this guy knows his stuff very well, but i live also in Netherlands. My go to shop mostly is tfl hobby germany, props Lorenz. But are many shops all over world off course. For a good advice you need to give some info to Cozy. Depends on size hull, voltage you want to run, speed you hope to get, budget for electronics etc, etc....
I also got a Psychocat with a pretty similar setup, but i have a hard time getting it dialed in... where is your cg located from the rear end? Can you link me your prop? I'm not that into boats yet mainly doing planes and cars and boats are hard af to set up properly
I need to check the cg, I will come back at you. My setup has set the strut pretty far back. I use this prop: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EyS9gDQ It's also quite heavy, with 2x 6S 3000mAh lipo: 3.1kg ready to run!
@@CozyRC fck commercial kicked in and deleted my whole comment 😢 i got it figured out pretty much now... running a pretty similar setup with a 3667 2000kv on dual 6s 1500mah hv 120c drone packs but im in desperate need for a higher pitch prop, currently running a 45x1.4 and clocked in at 85kmh today... My Packs even though half your size sitting pretty much at the rear end... looking forward for your measurement and thanks for the prop link, keep up the good work... im gonna Maiden a 1m unique hand laminated full cf mono later... running 8s 5674 1000kv so wish me luck 😅
Thanks for the info on your setup. I found that a smaller prop runs better. 45mm seems very big for this small hull. Changing to higher capacity lipos will also give more speed because they will drop their voltage less under load. Don't believe the C-ratings that are mentioned. There's no lipo that can deliver 100C, for example. The speed difference between my 6S 3000mAh and 6S 4000mAh in my G-Force twin is about 6-7km/h. The 3000mAh packs are rated 100C and the 4000mAh packs are 70C. But the higher capacity makes all the difference.
@@CozyRC setup isn't up to date anymore... went full ham today, sss 4092 2140kv 180A seaking currently prepping a 42x1.9 to run tomorrow... it will either explode or crack the sound barrier 😂
@@CozyRCbtw check out gaoneng batterys... they are expensive af but are literally the only ones that kinda kept their promise amp wise also zee perform pretty well despite the low price... im in a struggle with batterys though as im doing mainly planes and cars so i try to multi purpose buy batterys... i have like 6x6s 6000 but just one 4200 and then those 1500s 😂
I agree! And I found out at home that I didn't sand the running surface flat, after I filled the old water inlets. So there was a glue bubble on both of the sponsons. I have good hopes for next run 😎
Wow ! Just goes to show how finely she's tuned, when it's balancing on the edge of 'flipping'. Great job Cozy ... 👏
That's when you know you're running it the fastest you can 😅
Very nice stable run, pretty good for a low cost 25 euro motor.Have to luv those XK motors.
Thanks! These motors perform awesome, especially for their price!
Brother , she looks fantastic skipping across the water !

Thanks, Juniorwest!
the boat set for a small marathon, well saved there at the limit
Haha, yes many sprints. My boats have to work hard 😅

Well, nothing to complain with just one km loss. Ran on rails... 👍

Heb je nu 6s in serie gezet ? Op je esc?
Ik gebruik 6S lipo's en die heb ik parallel geschakeld, gewoon met de stroomkabels. He hoeft daarvoor niets in de regelaar af te stellen
