Always loved the beat that feels like it drops out at 2:08...that is what it means when people say a drummer has 'feel'. Lightning in a bottle. Jeff had a case of em.
Awesome job! Your drums blended into the song nicely as usual. Again, you sound like you were the actual drummer on the recording. Please keep cranking the videos out!
Such a great great album. I saved up pocket money earnt selling newspapers after school as an 11 year old to buy that album..pretty sure that would be considered illegal these days haha. Took up drums a lot later in life than most, although i started guitar in 1979 . Love the cover and the recording and video quality. Liked and subbed
Excellent cover! This song came on just now and during the great grove of the intro, I thought I was hearing extra hi-hat notes played super fast... so I came to youtube, found your cover and learned it was the ghost notes on the snare! Such a great sound and it sets up the song perfectly. You did a great job! Love all the camera angles. You've earned another sub.
Love your performance! Nice rogers kit....what year? I have a 1967 Roger "Holiday" edition with black wrap. I really like the wrap on your kit. I couldn't tell if you have the Dynasonic snare or not.
Really great job. Jeff would be proud. Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
What an incredible shuffle beat! My all time favorite! What an incredible performance!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
My late husband was a brilliant drummer he use to play this for fun. Well done. Thank you. This makes me smile and think of him.
Thank you so much! I'm glad it put a smile on your face.
Outstanding. I recognize nearly every beat. I really enjoyed this. Well done.

Unbelievable. I’m blown away. I love this Bozz Scaggs song but always struggled with it. You make it look easy.
Thank you. It’s not easy…it took me awhile. Stay with it and you’ll soon start to feel it. Good luck!

I wanna be like this guy when I grow up. I’m 40 and still working on my studio. Good to see you doing it, gives me hope.

I still have my late husbands DW kit I cannot bear parting with it.
Keep it, if it brings good memories to you,
Great performance, I'm doing research learning nail it. Thank you

You make it look so easy. A true sign of excellence. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That’s very nice of you to say! Thank you!
Great job, Gary. Nice kit too. I have a set of red onyx Holidays myself. Might have to throw down for one of those Dynasonic reissues one day. Cheers.
Thanks….I love the sound of the older kits. Rogers made a great kit.

FELICITACIONES TOCA MUY BIEN SIR, SALUDOS 9.999 LIKES.

How are counting the break at 1:40?
It's in 4/4 time and the drums come back in on 3 at the break you reference....at least that's how I hear it.
Love your performance! Nice rogers kit....what year? I have a 1967 Roger "Holiday" edition with black wrap. I really like the wrap on your kit. I couldn't tell if you have the Dynasonic snare or not.
Thanks. It’s a 63 or 64 red onyx Holiday kit. The snare is a new Dynasonic. I really like the sound of these Rogers kits.
Awesome! Who played the original?
The incredible Jeff Porcaro!
Drums are great, as usual, but the bari sax makes the song. Okay, I am a sax player and made hay with the baritone saxophone.
Thanks and I totally understand and like you, think the sax is a killer instrument.
