This is an awesome video, I especially appreciate the weapon discussion and I absolutely learned lots of new things there. If I may though, I personally think this build can be improved cyberware-wise. 1. Most importantly, I think nothing even comes close to the Apogee Sandevistan. The Apogee gives you +20% extended duration every time you kill an enemy which is high enough that you spend very little time outside of Sandevistan. 2. Because of that 20% extended duration you won't need Axolotl anymore, that's 55 cyberware points that can be used toward other iconic cyberware, particularly intertegumentary. The main ones are chitin (gives a lot of armor and +200% health regen if you have body maxed, which is pretty absurd coupled with the regen perks from body) and peripheral inverse (the iconic version of proxishield, which gives 45% damage protection instead of 20% (or 25%? I forget) of the normal version). 3. Replace bionic joints for epimorphic skeleton. It's 250 armor and 15% max health which is a big boon These improvements will net you about 250 more armor, and noticeably more damage reduction at close range (very useful in boss fights). That's pretty significant when added up with the carapace reduction. The caveats of this build are that: - it's a very lategame build, it uses very close to 330 cyberware points (which seems to be the cap) You can use bionic joints instead of epimorphic skeleton to save some capacity until you progress enough - in order to fill all your slots (for that 15% cooldown perk) you'll need to use a few filler or non-ideal cyberware, such as threatevac or kerenzikov boost system (even though you may not have kerenzikov). Heal on kill would've been nicer, although I rarely find myself lacking HP and ~10% per kill honestly isn't that important considering you barely get hit due to Sandevistan Happy experimenting, and thanks again!
I tried to find a better melee build than mine, and in this video you share literally the build I use) I mean good choice mate!) And good quality of video too
Essentialy, you should level the skills that give you damage with your weapon initially for any build. So for this tree, since were goign dash/swords, rank those first. This is the case for ANY build btw. The points in body and technical ability are for late game.
@@rhoku also can you tell which skill/perk helps us to chain fast attacks with katana like I've seen in many videos people just keep slicing enemies at bullet speeds without draining much stamina
Yesss, The wrap handle, which gives you a whopping 23% crit chance for 5 seconda after swapping to/throwing a throwing weapons at tier 5++. That’s an entire 81% Crit Chance with throwing weapons with this guys build, 100% with the stabber. Basically that means you can put that point from Style over Substance into something like Parasite because you’ll be critting all day every day.
At level 42, I had to change the difficulty to very hard. I just unintentionally one shotted a cyberpaycho on the hard difficulty. This build is craaaaazy
Best weapon is a non iconic 5++ Katana with two cyclone mods, it has the equal highest damage and as long as you sprint into combat you always have the speed bonus that byakko has without needing to kill enemies
Oh man I remember in 1.7 doing criticals with that sword and a sandevistan it was so stupidly OP, delicious. Or without sandy and with the legendary short circuit quick hack where all crits would still prog shock damage.
Nice build! Is the Cool capstone Style over Substance needed though if we have super high crit chance anyway? I keep going back and forth between bringing Cool or Body to 20 for the capstone perks.
Honestly not really. I just love going stealth with throwing knives so i added it to the build but you can feel free to go for body 20 to improve berserk rushing down bosses or whatever.
itll work. just don't rank the skills i mentioned at the end. Also u won't get access to some implants but thats fine as long as you get at least a decent berserk.
It cant increase it beyond 2/per second (basically if your weapon has a high swing speed like a knife it won’t multiply it beyond 2 per second and only increase it to that point, basically it doesn’t buff all weapons at the same rate but it does buff them no matter what)
I'm not sure I follow, wouldn't it receive no buff for a katana that's already at 2.12 attacks per second? It can't go higher than 2 per second right, and katanas are already at 2.12@@theyfwsam2046
@@Ignatius256 basically the speed it grants cannot go above an additional 2 attacks per second think of it as “20% buff but cannot exceed # for the buff” so basically you’ll always get a buff but it works severely better on slow swing weapons then fast ones (on faster ones the buff can be as low as like 5%) It’s very confusing I understand why you may not get it lol, I had to go through the files to figure out how it worked the first time
This is a similar build to mine except I prefer the Sandevistan! I'm around level 40 so my cyberware isn't all iconic ++. I prefer the electric Katana "The scalpal" with the electric throwing axe u get from the DLC. I heard the new Thermal katana is popular as well for these builds.
Hands are not useless if you upgrade then an try to get a + melee damage stat on both. You should aim to get that with all you're cyber wear. Could get pricey tho.
No, you can still do it. Just doesnt give you the prompt. It used to be a skill you’d have to unlock but now anyone can do it no matter the level or skills unlocked
No love for sandy? How badly did they nerf that thing? I haven't played in quite some time, and the last time I played, sandy was pretty busted when paired with blades.
im not too sure on all the differences but basically, its a bit more difficult to set up the super low cooldown sandy where you could basically just spam it on a 3 second cooldown but it feels more powerful as bullets fly faster and etc. in any case, Berserk works far better with blades imho
If you can record gameplay then do testing, I did. The choice of using microrotors, or StaminaBooster? Of course your attack speed goes way down if you run out of stamina and the limit of 2 seems to be true as I use Byakko and in testing it did not seem to increase attack speed but the Stamina Booster did increase stamina necessary for multiple enemy attacks without a moment between attacks for the stamina to regenerate. So I quit using microrotors and replaced with Stamina Booster (although it wasn't a significant boost, just slightly noticeable).
would be good to show some rampaging around normal gameplay rather than just spamming on a boss. boss damage is good but the feel and flow cant really be shown just looking at menus. overall a good build, just need to shown how it plays.
ai art for the thumbnail? come on it was soo cool and then bammm the katan on the right side isnt even anything. It leads right into the strap holding it in place.
