@@BikerBearMTB interesting, I wonder if the limit of 3500kg for category B still applies in this case. Personally, I think most people who only have a car license would struggle to drive a bus without the additional lessons done during cat D training.

in UK you need a category D license to drive a bus. I believe it's the same in the EU countries, so a car license (category B) would not cover this.
