Hi NDC. Just wanted to say thanks for your videos, I've recently passed my PCV and CPC tests and along with the great training I got, your videos really helped also. I'm in Northern Ireland and did my test through the streets in Belfast, in a Scania Irizar coach. I would like to put these two questions, which was asked at an interview I had a few months ago to see if theres any definite answer. 1 You are late to your next bus stop. A lady is waiting and when aboard she complains that she has now missed her hospital appointment. What do you do? What would you say to her? How would you handle the situation? 2 Your doing a school run and a fight breaks out on your bus. What do you do? What do you say? What can you do? How do handle the situation? Thanks again for all the advice in your videos
Thank you so much and a big well done on getting through all the examinations. 👍👍👍. I'm so sorry but because we are still an EPA assessment centre, I'm not gonna be able to answer those questions on the public form. However, if you want to give us a call I will gladly talk through some potential answers over the phone. Kind Regards Paul.
Amazing thanks 😊. One thing I would say is the centre of gravity I would add that it is down the middle of the length of the bus and indicate where it would be under acceleration and braking and cornering if that's what the examiner is looking for and asks anything else with the centre of gravity.

From there, you we need to make sure you have the correct documentation for yourself, passengers and the vehicle, making sure that internal checks are carried out including cockpit drill and making sure you have sufficient fuel and means of paying for it. And then finally making sure you carry out your daily walk around check and making sure it's recorded appropriately as per the company's Safe System of work (SSOW). Hope this helps Mohammed. If you got any questions, please give us a call.
Yes, it could be worded in a different way, but this would be the first beginning question. How do you check the vehicle in the morning for passenger care and comfort this is including physical risk. The problem with these module fours is Examiner's do have a tendency to slightly change the wording. 👍👍

I have started as a trainee for one of bus company in London. They show me two times what is module 4 about and booked me for an exam for this module on the third day . I don’t feel that I am ready , it’s too early for me as I didn’t have enough time to learn. Is it fair in your opinion?
No, this is exactly why we made this video. We wanted our students to learn in their own time so that it doesn't eat into the driving time. We also give them a booklet that we made so they could do their revision. We still have a few run throughs, throughout the cause to make sure the content is going in and the student is learning the information well. 👍👍👍👍👍
So if I do your package course for D licence for a Coach Licence, I can do you guys course and have a Pcv/ coach licence in 7 days (1 week) ?? Then apply for my coach driver job?
Hi Mo, all companies are different. 6 weeks sounds like a bus operator with their own in house training. Usually with 3+ people in the bus every day, therefore you drive less per day than a private training provider like ourselves who will carry out training over a condensed 7 day period where you drive 3 + hours a day without fail! 6 week courses typically you'll get an hour and a half maximum. Hope this helps.
Hi I pass my exam today cpc2. Thanks. Another time ask the same, I have your elections if any people would like a help ask me. I remember a few questions
Yes, absolutely. You’re tested on being able to: 1-load the vehicle following safety rules and to keep it secure 2-stop trafficking in illegal immigrants 3-assess emergency situations 4-reduce physical risks to yourself or others 5-do a walkaround vehicle safety check The test is made up of 5 topics from the Driver CPC syllabus. You can score up to 20 points for each topic. To pass you have to score at least 15 out of 20 in each topic area and have an overall score of at least 80 out of 100. 👍👍 Hope this helps 👍 Kind Regards Paul.

Good explanation, except for a little bit of suspicions activity :)
Thank you so much.🧐🧐🧐👍
im waiting to take this test and its the only hope i have considering work in the bus and coach indrustry and already have my licence and shut buses this is literelly the one thing that might help me pass i can remember most of the questions here ( and the answers ) i did want to ask tho he did not check the oil in the first use check is this required in the test or can i just tell them you would check it and then start the bus and continue doing as he has done here also can i answer the questions in his words ?
Hello Lee, thank you for your comment. I know what you mean checking the oil is the first thing we would check in the morning but it does not come in to the CPC Mod 4 test. There are some questions regarding oil checks on the Show me Tell me section of the Mod 3 test. Of course, you can explain in your own words No problem. Good luck.
@@NationalDrivingCentre sorry this comment did not show up recently do you take video requests ?

How much is a course for PCV and how long does it last. I want to work for stagecoach
Hi Brandon, all info can be found here >>> www.nationaldrivingcentre.co.uk/pcv-bus-driver-training-course/
Stagecoach pay for all of it
Thankyou very much good explanation
No problem at all, thank you 👍👍👍
Very good information
Thank you so much you're very kind.👍👍
I have started as a trainee for one of bus company in London. They show me two times what is module 4 about and booked me for an exam for this module on the third day . I don’t feel that I am ready , it’s too early for me as I didn’t have enough time to learn.
Is it fair in your opinion?
No, this is exactly why we made this video. We wanted our students to learn in their own time so that it doesn't eat into the driving time. We also give them a booklet that we made so they could do their revision. We still have a few run throughs, throughout the cause to make sure the content is going in and the student is learning the information well.
👍👍👍👍👍
Will this be before you go for your practical drive or is this a separate test ? Thank you guys this has been really helpful
This is really up to the school. With us it will be before the the driving test (3b) but it could be after.👍👍
So if I do your package course for D licence for a Coach Licence, I can do you guys course and have a Pcv/ coach licence in 7 days (1 week) ?? Then apply for my coach driver job?
Yes that's correct, there is no category for bus or coach they all come under category D.
@@NationalDrivingCentre I see, so if I can get a D Licence for Buses and Coaches with you guys within 1 week I may consider you guys 😊👍

I thought there was only buses in America
?
Does anyone know how many hours a week is spent on the 6 week PCV training?
Hi Mo, all companies are different. 6 weeks sounds like a bus operator with their own in house training. Usually with 3+ people in the bus every day, therefore you drive less per day than a private training provider like ourselves who will carry out training over a condensed 7 day period where you drive 3 + hours a day without fail! 6 week courses typically you'll get an hour and a half maximum. Hope this helps.
@@NationalDrivingCentre Thank you. This really helped. I've looked into more of your contents and they are great.

You are more than welcome 👍👍
can you fail this ?
Yes, absolutely.
You’re tested on being able to:
1-load the vehicle following safety rules and to keep it secure
2-stop trafficking in illegal immigrants
3-assess emergency situations
4-reduce physical risks to yourself or others
5-do a walkaround vehicle safety check
The test is made up of 5 topics from the Driver CPC syllabus. You can score up to 20 points for each topic.
To pass you have to score at least 15 out of 20 in each topic area and have an overall score of at least 80 out of 100.
👍👍 Hope this helps 👍 Kind Regards Paul.
Helpful, thank you
