I'm thinking of going for my Cat D shortly, a different career change brought on by imminent redundancy. Having been a driving Instructor in my years, this actually helped me a lot. Made perfect sense. Whilst the other side of the pond, our roads in the UK are a bit more challenging, but that principle is on point. Cheers :)
I drive for FirstBus in the UK... Try doing that here and you'll get stuck and block the whole junction.. just shows the difference in roads and driving techniques between countries.
This is such a good tip. I have never understood why people drive aggressively, I mean even if you shave like 10 minutes (which is a strech) to your destionation, it's still not worth the risk of potential injury or accident.
Your explanation on making a left turn is very clear. I only wish the music in the background wasn't quite so loud. Took me see several times to hear about the shoulders being in a line with the yellow lines as a reference point. Anyway, very informative. Thank you again.
That left hand mirror mount needs to be adjusted outward. Too close to the pillar for an obvious reason. Almost squashed a walker once in an Orion that way.
I can not imagine being strucked by any moving vehicle, and watching this video makes me worried these accidents that occur... could've been prevented by minding ones surroundings! Pedestrians always believe they have the right of way, drivers (bus , car, truck) trying to make the light, busy intersections, traffic, all make for the inevitable🚶♂️🚐.....🚔..🚑🚒
I've been driving a bus for a little over a year now and was able to learn a few great tips from this video. Well produced. Thank you!

The best way to put rear wheels to make turn to make more easy.
