You know what we need with this size mod, now? You're normal size throughout the overworld. But as soon as you enter a boss arena, you are resized to exactly (or as closely as possible) match that boss' size. If a boss changes size between phases, so too do you. Your height equals that of your opponent's. Always.
The cheeks were undoubtedly the highlight of the run, but every fight being dead quiet as a frog kaiju smashed everything with an oversized hammer really contributed to the bizarre and surreal atmosphere. Amazing video.
This mod really shows how funny it is that all the enemies have to aim all their attacks down at their own feet. Every single boss must have back problems after having to deal with we puny humans.
This video did a great job reminding me that fall damage in Elden Ring is in fact based solely off of a timer, not even distance, so the bigger you are, the further you can fall without instantly dying! It's amazing!
It's not though. It's based on how many meters you fall down. Jumping down 20m+ is instadeath, no matter how long you're in the air. There is a video made by a youtuber illusory wall, that explains this topic in-depth. Getting this big seems to just break this mechanic entirely.
@@mastermarkus5307 yea its based on how far the fall is compared to your relative height for sure, thats just always a static ~20 meters in normal gameplay but this mod proves its calculated differently than just picking a certain height (except for torrent clearly given how it died by falling a normal distance and killed him at the end)
Just get away from enemies and exit combat and that should get fixed up. The issue is because you are tall you are easier to spot by enemies. So, it is harder to get out of combat.

It's interesting to see how scale affects the drama of the bosses. Margit's attacks seem like they'd be easier to read and parry when you're fighting at the same size instead of having him tower over you and swing what looks like a tree trunk at you. Godrick's arm chop feels downright pathetic instead of dramatic when you're literally standing over him, and his ground slam really comes across as a temper tantrum.
