Hey man, the GoT example was kickass way to explain the concept. 😂😂😂 I am glad to know that someone actually used their logical brain to understand the simple vocab "maximum" and submitted 20 photos and got it approved. I believe IRCC would ask for more photos if they need rather than blatantly rejecting.

@@navpreetkaur57 You can only apply for spousal sponsorship under Family class if you have been living together as a Common-Law partner, Conjugal partner, or are married. If not then I would suggest get proper documentation before applying.

My wife and I were presented each other by a common fiend. I met her just 2 week (one time ) before I traveled to Canada. Now we hare married. I don't know how to present the application given that we do not have photos of us together (dating, ...). The only photos that we have are photos of us starting form my arrival in our country for our wedding. I want to know how to manage it. Do we need to choose "yes" that someone presented us ? Or that our wedding was arranged? Thanks

Yes, that is correct. I have gone through the changes to instructions some time back and noticed the updated instruction in checklist. As per the checklist IMM5533, the photos can be clubbed together in a single PDF, and description as a separate document. I would recommend to have the pictures numbered, and have the same sequence followed when uploading the 'description' of the photos. Also, the name of the 'file' should be consistent to show both the files (photos and description) are related to each other. Hope this helps.

Ankit, this is a really useful tutorial about how to submit the photos. I do have one question regarding the online application. You suggest uploading 20 different files with a photo and description. That means the portal would use up twenty different slots. Would this mean that we could be running out of slots for other important documents? Do you know how many slots are available on the application portal?
Based on the latest document checklist you can upload 20 different jpeg files each < 4mb. Label the filenames propert. Then upload a word or pdf with the list of all 20 photo and describing context for each of them.

As per the instructions for uploading PR photo, IRCC requests JUST 1 photo to have details of photography studio and other info on back of photo. So, you can have scan of both sides of 1 photo in 1 pdf, and paste DIGITAL copy of the front of 2nd photo on 2nd pdf. This way you will have 2 pdf's - 1 with scanned photo (doesn't matter if image quality deteriorates while scanning), and 2nd containing digital copy of photo. Scanning and uploading PR photo may deteriorate the quality of picture (1st pdf) and may not serve the indented purpose of using it to print PR card, and hence we provide the digital copy as-is. I did paper application but I helped a friend submit online application and they have received PPR recently. We have been keeping busy for past few weeks now as something exciting for us in-cards, but will create more videos soon. :)

Yea, you need to upload documents by categorizing them in their respective categories, and not all in one single doc. So, the document checklist will go under the category of 'Document Checklist' - it is a value in the drop-down next to Upload button on the portal.

@@nayyerislam7069 Sorry, my bad - I assumed you were referring to the online portal. For paper-application, you will need to arrange the documents in the order suggested in the checklist. So, the checklist comes first, then all bar-code pages, then the forms (as per the checklist order), then the supporting docs - this includes photos and all other relationship proof REQUESTED in the checklist. All additional relationship proof that you are providing which is not SPECIFICALLY asked in the checklist goes LAST. Hope this was helpful.
In this case you will need to still take screenshot of the chats and have it translated (refer guide IMM 5289 for details) in either English or French.

That is such a valid question but the straight answer to this is the family sponsorship process does not talk about the 'length of the relationship' as a criteria to not submit a required proof-of-relationship. So in your case, you need to simply find the KEY proofs - and major events - say, pictures of your son, you, and your husband; any birthday celebrations.. i am sure major event pics will easily total upto 20. :)

By color photocopies do you mean like 'color print from regular printer on a regular paper' instead of actual-photo-paper? If yes, then it wouldn't matter. You can go ahead with any mode as long as those are actual photos with the necessary details behind (or below) each photo. Sorry for delay in response.
Hi I applied for Outland spousal PR application online on 12 July 2022 and got return letter yesterday stating that "Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides in Canada. It appears that the Principal Applicant in your application is not residing in Canada given the information in your application documents." What does this means, I am 100% sure that Outland applications can be submitted via online portal then why they returned my application. Any guidance what should I do next would be appreciated.🙏
That is strange. Is it possible that in the documents you uploaded (esp in IMM008) you indicated that you are 'inside' Canada? The best thing you can do is to go through the information you provided in the original set and see if there's any contradicting information (applicant's country of residence or address).
friend, the new application fee message is seen, cganes from 30th April,. so I already paid and going to submit in a day, (before 30th). so its okay , right

@@OleCanada so in one pdf file, i put three pictures. Do i have to write applicant and sponsor name upon all those three photos although i will write details of three photos but not sure about names that i have to repeat names for all those three photos in one pdf file.
@@charleskhedia242 Since you are putting multiple pics in single file (word/pdf) you can put applicants name and DOB in the file Header (and Footer, if you want). This is assuming that you will write the date & place of the click with context below each photo.

@@100angry Only the applicants PR Photos are needed, and not of the sponsor. You will need to provide 2 photos (with PA's date-of-birth, name, and date when photo was clicked, and studio's stamp). I know in portal it does not makes sense to upload it twice but let's be safe than sorry. I would upload 2 photos. Hope this helps :) 🌸

Hey Friends, during review of form i found one technical thing. IMm 1344 page no6 / 8 need to be signed. when I opened the completed signed and dated scanned form, my form no at very right bottom , (generated after validated) does not match with other scanned form. It might be , I again clicked validated after sending the form for signature. which caused change in form no. Should I prepare that form again ?? Secondly, Assuming, I am preparing the form again, then if I validated it just now 7th April. can I tell my spouse to put the same date 7th April . as in India it would be 8th April by now. this is because, at the bottom form it also says "this application must be signed and dated before it is submitted" Does that mean, if 8th April is put , I have to submit before one day later on 9th april. or it just meant, before submitting it should be signed and dated. ( not one day prior or something it meant) Hope you got what I meant!! was just about to submit , :)
1. I don't see that should be any problem. Clicking validate multiple times will not really matter. The version of the form (bottom left of each page) matters and it has to be latest. There is no mention of consistent number on bottom right. You should be good. 2. There's no harm with dates being off between what you put in your (Sponsor's) section and PA's section. Key thing is: Form needs to be SIGNED and DATED. You should be good :)
Oops i found one more question. 1344 form page 6. On sign date field. Both the date are being put manually by handwritten. Is that okay. And secondly, co signer should i put n/a or leave it blank

On 'important document rocgnized as spouse ' can we tick it yes and again show same Civil status marriage certificate document ? (Bz it was already asked in page 6 of 10 ). - Not really. You can provide any life-insurance or health-insurance which mentions your wife as a beneficiary, or is joint-holder on the plan. Or, bank passbook with 'Spouse' name. Or, either of your passports that shows name of you guys on both passports. Or, any employment letter, investment certificate etc that shows both of your names. Note: Try-n-provide different proofs for each section to increase weightage of file. It will help. Q.4 I took Bank stmt and stamped at near branch. there is show marritial status as single. should thata be okay. Cust care said it can only be changed at home branch. hope, bank stmt marritial status single would do. , i have changed other at CRA alredy. any opinion ? - If it is not too much of a hassle I would suggest to ask bank to get your status updated and redo the bank statement print/stamp. Again, not a mandate but if I were you I would try to do all that is possible in my capacity to submit perfect application. Anything that is WAY-TOO-DIFFICULT can be given a second thought. Q.5 what is the best way to share wedding highlight videos for extra proof. as per your thoughts, TH-cam listed link is a good idea? similar to google drive shared with link, but on public platform like TH-cam. - I do not have an experience around it but it would not hurt if you are adding that in the uploaded files.

Q.3 yup. but as of now , dont have that . Anyways page9/10 , after AND needs two checkboxes to tick , which I can show. I can add photos of reference letter persons, (I have total 5 for my application, family friends) - showing that they attended wedding, should be fine na, below their adhar cards respectively. You can only add pictures to the application. If you want to give it a try to share a link to Google doc with additional images then it should still be fine, however, I do not think that any documentation for the sponsorship application is acceptable if it is submitted out of the IRCC online portal. In this case you will need to still take screenshot of the chats and have it translated (refer guide IMM 5289 for details) in either English or French.

That is such a valid question but the straight answer to this is the family sponsorship process does not talk about the 'length of the relationship' as a criteria to not submit a required proof-of-relationship. So in your case, you need to simply find the KEY proofs - and major events - say, pictures of your son, you, and your husband; any birthday celebrations.. i am sure major event pics will easily total upto 20. :)

By color photocopies do you mean like 'color print from regular printer on a regular paper' instead of actual-photo-paper? If yes, then it wouldn't matter. You can go ahead with any mode as long as those are actual photos with the necessary details behind (or below) each photo. Sorry for delay in response.

I applied for Outland spousal PR application online on 12 July 2022 and got return letter yesterday stating that
"Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides in Canada. It appears that the Principal Applicant in your application is not residing in Canada given the information in your application documents."
What does this means, I am 100% sure that Outland applications can be submitted via online portal then why they returned my application.
Any guidance what should I do next would be appreciated.🙏
That is strange. Is it possible that in the documents you uploaded (esp in IMM008) you indicated that you are 'inside' Canada? The best thing you can do is to go through the information you provided in the original set and see if there's any contradicting information (applicant's country of residence or address).

Yes, that would work as well. As long as the details of the picture is provided for each pic it is fine.

@@charleskhedia242 Since you are putting multiple pics in single file (word/pdf) you can put applicants name and DOB in the file Header (and Footer, if you want). This is assuming that you will write the date & place of the click with context below each photo.

@@charleskhedia242 I would suggest writing 'Sponsor last name-Sponsor First Name-Document Type-Number'. The recommended labelling instructions in the portal suggests to label document to correctly reflect what is the document.
Hi my spousal sponsorship process is in progress . They have asked additional documents (marriage photos ) which is already uploaded . Again they are asking . When uploading in ircc webform its allowing only 3mb total size for 20 pics . When we compressing the clarity of the picture is losing .

@@100angry Only the applicants PR Photos are needed, and not of the sponsor. You will need to provide 2 photos (with PA's date-of-birth, name, and date when photo was clicked, and studio's stamp). I know in portal it does not makes sense to upload it twice but let's be safe than sorry. I would upload 2 photos. Hope this helps :) 🌸

Hey Friends, during review of form i found one technical thing.
IMm 1344 page no6 / 8 need to be signed. when I opened the completed signed and dated scanned form, my form no at very right bottom , (generated after validated) does not match with other scanned form.
It might be , I again clicked validated after sending the form for signature. which caused change in form no. Should I prepare that form again ??

Assuming, I am preparing the form again, then if I validated it just now 7th April. can I tell my spouse to put the same date 7th April . as in India it would be 8th April by now. this is because, at the bottom form it also says "this application must be signed and dated before it is submitted" Does that mean, if 8th April is put , I have to submit before one day later on 9th april. or it just meant, before submitting it should be signed and dated. ( not one day prior or something it meant) Hope you got what I meant!! was just about to submit , :)
1. I don't see that should be any problem. Clicking validate multiple times will not really matter. The version of the form (bottom left of each page) matters and it has to be latest. There is no mention of consistent number on bottom right. You should be good.
2. There's no harm with dates being off between what you put in your (Sponsor's) section and PA's section. Key thing is: Form needs to be SIGNED and DATED. You should be good :)

- You can give Aadhar number in IMM 0008 (National Identity Doc). Besides that there is no need to give any photo-copy of any other document which is not asked. Only passport is a mandatory doc which should be provided as per the instructions.

- Your international travel will not termed as cohabitation. It has to be actual long term stay together at a place. However, you can show international travel as additional relationship proof and disclose it in IMM 5532.

- Not really. You can provide any life-insurance or health-insurance which mentions your wife as a beneficiary, or is joint-holder on the plan. Or, bank passbook with 'Spouse' name. Or, either of your passports that shows name of you guys on both passports. Or, any employment letter, investment certificate etc that shows both of your names.
Note: Try-n-provide different proofs for each section to increase weightage of file. It will help.

- If it is not too much of a hassle I would suggest to ask bank to get your status updated and redo the bank statement print/stamp. Again, not a mandate but if I were you I would try to do all that is possible in my capacity to submit perfect application. Anything that is WAY-TOO-DIFFICULT can be given a second thought.

- I do not have an experience around it but it would not hurt if you are adding that in the uploaded files.

Q.3 yup. but as of now , dont have that . Anyways page9/10 , after AND needs two checkboxes to tick , which I can show.
I can add photos of reference letter persons, (I have total 5 for my application, family friends) - showing that they attended wedding, should be fine na, below their adhar cards respectively.

You can only add pictures to the application. If you want to give it a try to share a link to Google doc with additional images then it should still be fine, however, I do not think that any documentation for the sponsorship application is acceptable if it is submitted out of the IRCC online portal.
