Fantastic. The looks were so different but both awesome. Really well done. I think I would enjoy that Boston-Irish Rock band. It makes me nuts when shooters do BTS videos with very little of the actual job footage. This is great!! I too shoot with C70's but I did just pre-order the C400.
Very impressive work on both videos Eric! Super sharp, cinematic and lovely clean grade. Does the negative fill each side of the singer on the pitch help with contrast?
Thanks! Those were ultrabounces, so one side is black and one side is white, it might look like we double neg'd from some angles but that's just because you're seeing the back of the rag.
If you keep the Portkeys they have an entirely new OS for their monitors rolling out soon you’ll be able to upgrade to and it looks so much better than the old OS
Can you explain to me about the 4 different orientations when using PL adapter. Can i achieve this with PL to Sony E? This is all fairly new to me and I can’t seem to find much on the internet about it Love the video btw 🔥
My favorite part about this video is how it all looks so good. So good in fact it makes me thirsty for a liquid death sparkling water. If only this guy had some kind of sponsorship from them.
Hey! Great content and BTS! And I'm team #EOS.. I have the R5c.. Would you say the c70 would be a good Bcam for my r5c (since they just drop price) or should I go for c300 mk3 for Acam and my r5c as my bcam
Odd question, support aside, is your c70 course still worth it for users that have been shooting with it for several years now? I picked mine up back in mid 2021 and have used it on dozens of commerical gigs, creative projects, testomonials ect... But it's one of those things where you know what you know and there's probably some things the camera does well, especially after all the updates, that I'm leaving on the shelf. Do you think I'd still get something out of your course?
Can you tell me about your slider? I am looking to upgrade from an Edelkrone, which is not supporting my C70 rig, to something more robust like the one you used in this video.
@@SoundItOutFilmscan vouch for this one, got mine off B&H a few years ago and haven't had any issues - super smooth especially if paired with a good fluid head.
Great review! One thing - I've always thought Goldilocks got way too much credit for stuff being "just right". Surely we should be referencing Baby Bear? It always his stuff not Goldie's.
What a fantastic breakdown of these lenses. A benchmark for TH-cam camera channels. Subscribed.

Came for the lens review, but dig the music in both videos.
Links?

What great news! Thanks for the heads up!
Nice review and fantastic work. I got into videography recently, and your content has been incredibly helpful. Cheers!

Did you buy a Dana Dolly or rent it? The Dana Dolly is one of my favorites as it always works and there are no batteries to die.
Rental. And yeah, totally agree!

Super hard for me to say… but if you’re happy with the footage you’ve been getting for the past 3 years I’d say probably not.

Yeah, it's a Dana Dolly! I rented it for this shoot. Here's a link to a similar one: bhpho.to/3KWWKm9
