Yeah 😭 I’m slow learner when it comes to math and the teacher goes in such a fast pace that I can’t keep up and I don’t say anything because of social anxiety but this video helped sm 😭😭
I never normally comment of these type of videos, but this one really helped me! I am studying for a math test tomorrow and I was really stuck on Pythagoras , this was explained really well and clear, I am definitely subscribing to this channel. Thank you so much!
Reviewing for the GRE and I've seen 4 or 5 videos on this subject. This is the best. Clear, concise, good examples, and a quiz with answers...so well thought out. Plus the jazz and calming voice...this rocks! Thank you.
Caleb Mekonnen my teacher for maths can’t teach.. our class goes wild and no one pays attention- there are so many interruptions no one can understand what he’s saying. i knew nothing about this but now i understand.
This man makes things I found so difficult to understand at school 50 years ago so clear - there are some dreadful teachers around - or was it that I just wasn't listening those years ago? Many thanks.
Good stuff! 7 mins. and 49 secs. is not too long to explain this theorem... THANKS for (1) taking the time (2) making & showing it clearly and (3) sharing what you all have learned with all of us -- that is the point!!! Greetings form the USA!!
I haven't studied maths for 11 years but now I'm having to as I'm starting a course in dispensing optics. The learning material provided is so long winded and confusing I have been stuck on Pythagoras for just over a day, but watching this video I got it straight away! Thank you so much! And your comment at the end about helping people not to give up on maths, I was seriously considering my options with this course as nothing was making any sense, but this has helped regain my confidence! I'll be watching any videos you have on trigonometry next! Thank you! :)
Your videos are effective in my studies. It helps me remember and clarifies some of my doubts which I don't get clarified by my teachers and your voice is so nice, which I intend to say is that maintain that voice. Anyways, keep up the good work.
I see everyone talking about GCSE’s and I’m here in year 8 because we are learning it and I have a test in a couple hours first period( I’m staying up late so now my test is in a couple hours and I haven’t slept)
I'm in Y8 too, I have my end of year test tomorrow 😂✋🏻 and I know that this is one of those random years so I shouldn't be stressing about it, it's not just gonna change my life or something but it still feels important. Plus I'll get smacked with a flip flop or get my phone taken away if I don't study lmaoooo
I’m watching this vid a day before a math test because I haven’t done any of my work during lockdown and I’m clueless and have no idea how to do pythag🙂
holy shit i was so intimidated my the teachers and I got scared and cheated for my exam I literally just watch a minute youtube video and now I understand, thank you so much, bless this man rn
the fact that my teacher took three weeks to explain this leaving us still confused and that this video made me understand this in less than eight minute baffles me
Hello! I am a 14 year old Korean student! I was curious about the Pythagorean theorem, so I searched for this video, and thanks to the well-organized explanations and the pictures that are well-understood, I was able to complete my homework! Thank you! p.s-I may have a wrong sentence because I'm not good at English..! Thank you for reading!
This is a great video specifically for Physics, particularly because of the demonstration of cutting a rectangle in half. We do this with vectors in physics all the time, and that is the demonstration that I wanted to show my students. THANKS!
thanks for the lesson im actually not good at math but because of you i passed my math test and im greatfull, keep making more of these videos thank you
It doesn’t matter. The shorter sides will be either A or B. They are interchangeable. If you swapped the base and perpendicular sides when calculating, you’d still get the same answer
7:28 Isn't the third answer *(b)* for the TV wrong. I think it's supposed to 34.5 inches instead of 35.0 inches? If I'm wrong feel free to reply so I can understand my error!
After squaring 30 and 18 then adding them together, you get 1224. The square root of 1224 is 34.9857113690718. Rounding this to 3sf is 35.0. Hope this made sense and helped
Haven’t touched Pythag in over 12 years. Why didn’t teachers say “when you get into your 30s and want to take up woodworking at home, this will come in handy” might have listened more....thanks buddy! I’ll let you know how the coffee table turns out.
Thank you I really appreciate it how snappy and short and sharp this video is it gets straight to the point now I have a refreshed mind and now I can do the questions I have
I'm practicing for a test now and your video really helped me a lot and I got it really faster than how I got it in class and it's much more simpler so thanks or maybe I just have a tough head but thanks anyway
So this man basically taught me a lesson that my teacher took 1 week to finish. and this guy just does it in less than 8 minutes. *Is that cheating?*
Some Teachers just teach because they get paid too not because they want to help you
It’s because in class there are distractions and teacher have to stop every 10 seconds here u had no problems just listening no stoping
Ikr my teacher can go die in a hole
Carolyn Ellis lmao calm down😂
