    Fam, before this video I knew nothing about trigonometry and was so uncool. My only friend was this Indian technician named Ranjeet. But after watching this, with my amazing Maths skills, I impressed all my classmates and now I'm the coolest kid in school. Thank you yaymaths. I love you, kiss emoji.

    I can only imagine how helpful it is for his students to be able to watch and rewatch these lessons before a test or for students who are sick or missed a class. Nothing beats in class learning, but having lessons that you can watch and catch up or refresh would be so useful, I wish we had this when I was taking math and physics back in school

    My goodness i love this guy, this is where i do most of my learning. I like how he takes his time explaining step by step the order and concept of each aspect of math. It helps me recall it better during tests or quizzes because he make it make sense. It is a shame that we don't have more teachers like him that actually care about students and their understanding of the concept.

    thank you. I had been having a hard time learning this stuff in class not being able to finish the home work because I couldn't remember what to do next. that has always been my problem with math. I am an adult in adult high school taking night classes trying to up grade my grade 12. so I am studying grade 11 math right now, anyways a few days before the text I watched this video, in fact I found it on youtube to help with my homework and I watched it a few more times over and over, I found it was great to help me to remember. I took the final test for the unit on thursday and just got my mark back last night and I scored an 84% on it, thank you for your help!

    when you multiply for sin in his example, could it also be x = 40 sin 12? Does the order of the numbers matter or does it have to be x = 12 sin 40?

    • @serandrew

    I don't understand what you are doing when you write the 1, 1, and square root of two on the outside of the triangle?

    • @vergohbeats
      @vergohbeats 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      If a triangle's angles are 45, 45 and 90, The sides with be length x and the hypotenuse will be x times square root of 2. In that case he used the numbers 1 as x and 1 times square root of 2 is just square root of 2. :)

    I understood a lot of this but it still got confusing and the students seemed like they were way ahead of me. I'm in the middle of an algebra 2 course and have done a little geometry, learning the basics, but you lost me on some parts of this. Especially when you started bringing in radicals, lol they're the only part of algebra that gave me trouble.

  • @TheReMorseCode

  • @benlee5039

    27:20 Oml he explained that soooo well. My teacher would have been like "well, you take 1 on both of the legs, then you need to square it because its a 45 45 90 triangle... oh why is there a 2. Well because its x root 2, so x is 1 then you do a root 2 in front of the 1, and the one goes away. Do you get it now?"
