- Here’s our current status!! This tool trailer build is forever a work in progress, but every time we wrench on it, progress is made.
Throw some input, advice, or questions in the comments!!
Trailer info:
Look element Se 16x8.5 v nose
Solar info:
Expert power solar kit
3000 watt inverter
4x 100 watt solar panels
2x 100ah LiFe PO4 batteries
Towed by duramax 2500 denali
We have had some learning moments from the beginning of this build, especially the fact we have scaled up and purchased a lot of new equipment.
One of the most difficult lessons was also making space for materials and hardware for current projects. I absolutely can’t stand the floor building up with random boxes.
Our next phase is clearing the right wall for cuthub storage and rebuilding shelving and hook walls to dial in all of our clamps, hoses, guns, and big bucket hardware. This will also include some flex bins that can be emptied after each job.

I can’t figure out my daughter watches videos of people playing games. Then I watch videos of how people have their tools organized! 😂
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣
It's beautiful in there🎉🎉🎉
I don’t get why didn’t you open the fridge. You always open the fridge. 😂
Probably empty like old mother Hubbards cupboards
Does he keep beer 🍺 in it and he doesn’t want to invite?
getting my contractors license after the first of the year. this trailer has everything i'm looking for with the tools and additional packout i will be acquiring. I LOVE THIS LAYOUT!!! GREAT JOB
Good stuff dude!! Feel free to reach out with any questions
Awesome setup. I would have a well-hidden GPS and a backup Apple Airtag on the trailer just in case the worst things happen!
Great set up! Love the "OnlyDecks" hoodie design. That's great!
This is what I dream of! Saving to build my own this next year
Get some!! 🤙
If Milwaukee only made label makers!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Luckily she’s all labeled now lol. That was the product of me loading all those tools in new boxes the previous couple days so pretty confusing
And all this can be yours today for a low 84k.
Awesome trailer, I think a lot of us would love to see you go through each organizer/box in depth and see how you sort things. You’re clearly a super organized guy. Love the trailer
We are setting up to do a new walk through because we’ve made a bunch of changes since this video 😅 I’ll surely do a full run through
Shit is lookin RIGHT bro🤘🤘
Thanks brother it’s coming along!
Impressive trailer. Well done. And I like that you’re sticking with the continuous improvement mindset. Keep it up!
Appreciate it mate
This is Tool and storage porn!! Love it!
WOW!!!! That is a nice MF trailer!!!! That would make job sites a dream to work on.
This trailer is absolutely amazing!! Incredible work! It’s clear you’ve spent hours thinking about this and executing! Organization is kind of my thing, and all the Packout containers and clear cut layout scratches that itch in a big way! And the red and black foam on the inside! Exquisite! Pat yourself on the back! Easily the best set up I’ve seen by miles! And being in a trailer makes it that much more amazing! Beautiful work!
why you put other companies with the Milwaukee ???
I'm looking into purchasing a trailer for work. What size is this trailer, and would you go bigger or smaller, or is this perfect size?
It’s a 16x8.5 and it’s perfect. We had a 14x7 before and it’s a total different animal
If you have the height stand the cut up vertically, you can nest two sections together and it will take up minimal space
I’m considering it. Maybe a sliding door so I can hang our hoses and cords in front of it?
@@ravinbuilders yeah I had dedicated space for the cuthub but eventually had to rework the area to make it more efficient for space
So glad I watched this. I'm aiming to build a packout drawer-based toolbox. I wanted to top it off at first with a decently sized top-loading packout box, but with all the drawers I want, it'd be a little too tall and difficult to look/reach into. But then this guy shows me Milwaukee makes a friggin CABINET packout module. God damn, man. I love me some fuckin Milwaukee.
It’s sooooooo red. Grosssssss 😂😂
You low key closet Milwaukee fans are sad with your yellow lies
Super cool, just got my first packout boxes today and i'm imediately wondering what's inside the container, lol. they all look the same, that's the only downside so far for me
with that many packouts, y'all should label em so it's a lot easier to identify em
We are in the process. Need to get them all set and decided before we start printing labels.
Was thinking that it’d be rough for a new guy
@@WorldOfWonder873 clearly it’s rough for me too! 🤣 we have them all sticker labeled now but are printing custom latches and tags for everything soon.
What did you use to mount long hand tools on the ceiling?
Sinoking rubber clamps
Enough scres in there to build a small deck
thats alot of batteries!!!!!!! nice setup, I can relate to 6:40, lol
And this is what every garage I’ve set out looks like in my head before I start and I end up with something completely the opposite haha, relocating tools about 5 times throughout the same
Process.
Love the video my man
Appreciate it. This is also like the fourth version, and now there’s a fifth.. 😅
Best trailer I’ve seen yet, the only thing I’d change is to put in a computer to the right of the fridge and microwave.
Laptop works well!! We have an iPad in there on a mount now for our plans
All your tools and an mt 100?!!? Shout out to the trailer! What is it? You're towing around 10-11k lbs?
Can’t stand guys that need to slam everything. It’s just a weird way to act like you know what you’re doing. Tone it down
Awesome trailer organizers
Looking to do a similar build with packout shelves. But the original e track doesn’t let you put a drawer system on in what e trac did you use to make it work?
When taxes are coming up and you made way more money this year. Gotta get those deductions
Looks like the only thing you need is labels, so you can find your grinder! 😅
What in thee he\\ are those yellow things hanging on the wall and I don’t mean the stabila levels!!!!
Bro sick trailer set up from New Zealand. Love seeing pride in your craft. Wicked channel. Just followed 👍🏽
What are the red Milwaukee things on the wall in the wall mount brackets at 12:23?
Impressive setup but couldn't be bothered getting a big box down to get to a jigsaw or angle grinder. Drawer would be a good compromise if you don't access too often im my opinion.
Keep it up though, very organised indeed
I love it! I bought a couple Milwaukee Packouts after watching a comparison video and I really like them. After watching your setup I am excited to buildout my shop like this. It’s a total mess right now and drives me nuts. A place for everything and everything in its place is the only way to go. Thank you for sharing.
what size is your trailer we want to keep our machine ours ?
8.5x16
#GOALS
what size trailer is this?
8.5x16 🤙🫡
Blown away. Amazing build. You're set!
Thanks!! We actually have an updated walk through, I’ll post it up soon.
Bro, I died and went to Milwaukee heaven damnnnnn!!!! ONEDAY that’s gonna be me!!!!
Labor of Love!! Super smooth set up
Nice Setup… the organization never ends 👍👍
now hold on partner i see makita😡
@@Speedypolaris yea because they make a 3x better saw than Milwaukee. I’m a builder, not a power ranger.
@@ravinbuilders alright I'll let u go off with a warning
Did you have to reinforce the walls to mount the shelves too.
My trailer on has 1/8 inch ply on it
I see we have the same addiction. I am building a sprinter van we my tools. I’ll put a video soon.
How wide is that trailer??😳 is that a car hauler?
"If you're getting jiggly with it" 😂😂😂 hilarious keep up the good work.
What system did u use on the walls for the shelf brackets? Awesome Trailer
If you have ever been on a snap on or tool truck you can make a roof storage with the bungees
I wonder how much this trailer weighs with all the tools and if it were empty?
Did you have to reinforce the walls to hang the packouts?
Be really cool to see how you mounted all of this within the trailer!!
What’s the dimensions of the trailer?
Do you feel any difference pulling the trailer with more weight on the left side? I was going to build a Ron Paulk design trailer, but after seeing this, I might change my mind.
Nope, it’s actually pretty heavy on the other side we put the aluminum plank up top and all our fasteners etc. I haven’t weighed for balance but the tires tell me it’s even 🤣
All you need is a label printer from Amazon to label everything. It’s like 20 bucks. It’ll make your life a whole lot easier.
Everything is labeled now. We were trying to get everything set before we 3d printed labels.
what size trailer are you running
It seems you leave your power tools battery-less while in packout storage. Ever grab a packout box and realize you had to return for batteries?
Nope, I prefer to have visibility on our batteries. Having them filed in each tool box would be inefficient in my opinion and we’d lose the clear inventory of the rack being full. We also don’t have designated batteries for each tool, we just grab and charge as necessary if that makes sense.
What size is your trailer I’m thinking about doing that, that’s a great idea just take it to the Jobsite👍 The only problem I have with that trailer is that everybody will be going in there grabbing tools.
8.5x16!!
I would be happy with that setup/. Good job!
:how much was it ?
: Yes.

What size is your trailer ??
Nice set up!
Thanks!! Always a work in progress
Great setup, love it
That shit is 100% Organized
Very nice trailer! The amount of packout is impressive. A label maker is always a great idea for at a glance tool identification.
Everything is labeled now. I was just holding out to get everything placed before I started printing them!!
What size is your trailer?
8.5x16 v nose
@@ravinbuilders axles?

Store clips on ceiling
Clamps? That how we had it in the last trailer. Been slacking on making a hole for those because the decking clamp adapters we have on most of the bigger ones make it hard to clamp to the ceiling.
For the cost of the packout plastic pullout boxes witch won't last you could of bought a nice roll cab tool box with wood top.
A thieves dream trailer. Your business would be gone.
Dewalt with Milwaulkee in the same trailer my God man what's wrong with you.
So amazing set up.whats cost and info on solar set up?
Sorry I missed this. It’s an expert power setup around $2500 all in
Amazing!
Thanks!

How do you keep your saws stationary in transport?
They seat into slots routered into the shelves 💪
Can we get a Max Powerlite system Review?
Yes!!
Nice work!!
total ridiculous overkill
Thank you
How are those m18s mounted?
Stealthmounts!
@@ravinbuilders thanks! I just ordered some on Amazon. I'm looking forward to this
Great organization! Looks awesome.
Thank you!
I hate to be this guy but I think you need a better camera guy 🤷🏼♂️
Haha in his defense he was holding two phones so I’d have both formats but he could only see one screen. The horizontal got clipped pretty bad. He’s a carpenter not a camera guy!! 🤣🤙
@@ravinbuilders yea no worries lol
Add labels
"LO-JACk" ASAP..!!!
We have much more than a tracker 🤣🤙
Looks great!
What do you have to hold the shovels on the roof?
They are rubber clamps meant for shovels on 4wd (like the jeep jack mounts) I get them on Amazon. Called “Sinoking”
@@ravinbuilders I appreciate it so much! That’s gonna help get the shovel off the floor!
How do you mount the batterys?
stealth mounts
Makita 😍😍😍
They make the best saw 💯
@@ravinbuilders and drills....don't care about the crazy power one bit
@@UncleIvan1 I’ve had issues with the new xgt drills. They are really nice but not reliable like they used to be
@@ravinbuilders i believe you...that's what happens when Chinese make it
@@UncleIvan1 yep you can buy the real
Japanese models on eBay. That’s where a couple of our saws and the power planer came from.
Milwaukee is what you buy when you like throwing away tools every 3 years when the warranty expires
Thanks for the tip
So if I win any!? Do I still need to take everything on top anyways. 🥲
