  • For the first time, I'm sharing my full "Active Imagination" sketchbook. I've been experimenting with this practice for the last 2-3 years and it has greatly expanded my ability to tap into the depths of my Imagination.
This practice was used by Carl Jung to create his "Red Book" and many people have adapted it with great success. It can be a tool for personal psychotherapy or for expanding your creativity by building a deeper connection with your unconscious self.
I've fallen in love with the practice and use it as a source for many of the drawings you've seen on my channel in the last year. I will continue to create sketchbooks like this and will continue to share them on this channel.
I hope you're inspired to give it a try in your own sketchbook, let me know if you do!
Please tell me your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you, drawing has always been my greatest obsession. I've been doing it almost everyday since I was a child.

@@EricYoungArt it certainly shows in your skill! Great to see a fellow Terence McKenna fan creating art on this platform. Keep up the spectacular work✌️

This was awesome, as were your sketches! Very fascinating to hear you describe your process. Since drawing isn’t my creative outlet of choice, I wonder how Jung’s technique may apply to say, writing or music? More or less the same?

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
I'm pretty sure you would get similar results with other creative mediums as well. The important part is learning to quiet your mind and listen for the sudden flash of inspiration from your imagination. I'm sure you could start writing random sentences and just your mind flow from there. I've heard comedians like Joe Rogan say they start writing joke ideas down doing something similar to this.

Thanks! Quieting my mind is a regular practice for me, just never really tried paring it with my creative pursuits so I’m looking forward to trying that out. Will look more into the Jung practice and see:) if you’ve got specific content suggestions as it pertains to Jung and this practice I’d be all ears.
Your sketchbook was like watching you flip from masterpiece to masterpiece.
