I just absolutely love paul and Linda's lifestyle. Living out in the country with their kids & a bunch of animals. I hope for that kind of love with a girl someday
I remember that evening in May 1973, setting up a tape recorder beside the T.V and holding the mic to the television speaker for the entire show, of course pausing it for the ad breaks. Sounds like a simple operation, but it was an evening show and my Mam, Dad, and five siblings were all in the front room for the entire time. There's bits where doors are opening and closing, even slammed, and me shouting at them to keep quiet. This was long before VCRs were available. I still have that 45 mins of mayhem too.
I remember my dad, my big brother and me all gathering by the TV to watch this. Great stuff...still. Just beautiful. Great memories here, especially when I realize that my father, my mother and big brother have all passed away now. I know they'd love to watch this again. Even though it made my father sad when Paul's piano blew up. I think he said; "why did they wreck that perfectly good piano for?"
Haha, Yup I did the exact same thing. "shut up you guys, im recording" with the portable tape recorder positioned just below the TV speaker. I was eight years old - it was the only copy of Little Woman Love I had for years.
