@@HumlsHobbies It's a great looker and performance is decent👍 and I want to fit the luggage rack with accessories.I am new to crawlers. I too have the green magnum and a blue smasher. All are stock so far. Keep up the great vids.
There is a lot to not like about this but visually it's very nice. I got a yellow one a couple weeks ago. I gave the tires a chance by putting them on metal wheels with dual stage foams and they are not bad but have me shopping for better. My biggest disappointment with it was the lack of any slow speed modulation, but the battery tray, servo, bumper bracket, and shocks added to the disappointment. In other words a typical RTR. I put a HobbyWing Fusion SE 1200 and Radiolink receiver and softer shock springs till I choose shocks (will probably fashion some towers). I also have a winch on the way.
I agree! I was thinking about switching the body but the lack of a mount system kinda makes it hard. I'm probably going to fabricate something eventually.
My son just bought my dad this rig as he has wanted one so bad! Just found your channel! New subscriber here! We will have ours on our channel soon!! Keep up the good work!
@@HumlsHobbies I will be getting one as well for that price lol. I have an element 2 kit to build as well just need the body for it but have not decided so hey why not get the atlas while I decide 😂
I know the feeling. I want to buy so many parts for this truck and a couple others but then Losi released the Baja Rey 2.0 and now I'm probably going to drop all my money on that one lol! It never ends! The addiction is real!
All good info, especially for beginners such as myself. Recommend the spektrum spmxse1040 for only $20 makes zero noise. Grease up the diffs, transfer & transmission because they're dry.
I bought those same 2 cars on fathers day. Watch out if you add a winch on the Atlas, I installed one and it blocks the body from opening. I used a Lectron Pro 7.4v 5200 mAh hard shell battery. its just narrow enough for me to wedge in without straps. hasnt come loose yet even when rolling down a hill. Ive been posting plenty of Atlas vids, loving it. The Magnum isnt super capable but it is just so photogenic, so fun to take on a hiking trail
You can get pretty much all the stock parts on fair rc however as far as aftermarket goes there isn't much available yet that I'm aware of. One thing I would like to do was put a pick up truck body on it but no one that I know of has an aftermarket mount system. So definitely going to have to get creative if I end up doing that.

I picked up the same deal😊 My atlas is also the orange one and still in the box. My freebie choice was the fms fj cruiser for my wife. Great video✌️
Thanks my friend! Yeah the FJ was my 2nd choice. I'm considering buying one by itself. Might wait til the next sale though.

@@HumlsHobbies did you replace the shock oil ? I will receive this truck tomorrow so planning to make the changes right away
@RakishRc I will be honest I have not. I bought some different wheels and tires for it but I haven't put them on yet.
@@HumlsHobbies oh I see. Let us know once you test the new tyres and how it handles 👍
@RakishRc definitely! I've been lacking on content lately but I'm hoping to change that soon! 🙏
Is it waterproof out of the box
@minato2op352 it doesn't say it is. However, I did drive it through water a bunch of times without issue.

@@HumlsHobbies how much time will it last
@@minato2op352 on one of those batterys I would guess about 30 to 40 minutes. I know on my 5200 pack I could get well over an hour.
