Definitely the SC-08 for reverbarant rooms. Seems to have a little more lower-mids as well. Not surprisingly, it was outshined by the shotgun mics in the outdoors settings.
good content, which would you recommend to record wood wind instrument? unrelated to what mics are designed for but what are your thoughts? I was thinking of om08 or ca08 to pair with my hn4 pro.

The SC-08 sounds great!
Agreed, I really like the SC-08
Agreed. Very underrated.
I’d like to hear it in a comparison with the MKH50 indoors in a reverberant space
love the concept of this video. I'm not sure if the mics were volume matched very well in the first example? The HC-15 sounds quieter.
Thanks for this video. I have the HC-22. It's good to see a current video talking about these mics, it's not a lot
Yeh they don't get talked about anywhere as much as they should really
@@carlyates2487 I agree
HC 22 was great in every category 💣
The HC-22 definitely sounds better than the HC-15 to me

HC-22 for the win

@@carlyates2487 it has a bit more lower end response. I’d like to hear it after using Waves Clarity VX Pro noise reduction.
