This was indeed such an amazing moment in the game! The moment it seemed like Amaterasu was about to be killed, Issun fulfilled his destiny and helped her regain her true powers. The arena going pitch dark so you could draw the rising sun was one of the most atmospheric video game moments I’ve ever experienced!

You feel like your the best at everything, only the discover the final boss and fight is a mountaintop duel against...... your character from the last game. My 12 year old brain was not ready. But okami's ending definitely helped me understand the japanese troupe of "power of friendship beats everything " so epic
This version of Rising Sun is absolutely incredible. I am blown away - and including the theme of the Celestials.. hard to imagine listening to this any other way now!
So at the End the forth phase of Yami, and after the cutscene when Ammy regains the power of Shiranui, Two Japanese Symbols came up 照 and 天 One means Brilliant, the other means Heaven. The first came up when the Sun came out from behind the Clouds and the second came up when Ammy let out a Howl and then the last boss fight began. 照 天 Means shining sky. BUT if we reverse those into 天 照 It becomes Amaterasu.
All the iteration of this song, from the original, the Marvel vs Capcom, the remixed and whatnot, are all beautiful. Thanks for uploading and sharing your version Jacob!! It's a nice uplifting and triumphant version back!! I was telling myself that im going to bring this OST back to my iPod playlist and who better to bring it back then your tribute album! I'm supporting it all the way from Guam!

Wow. Honestly, I hope to be able to make stuff like this some day. My musical abilities aren't the best yet, but, just how this is your tribute to the game, I'm making my own as I type this. Still, this is honestly one of the most impressive orchestral arrangements of anything that I've ever had the pleasure of listening to, and I do hope you make more!
The original was epic itself. But this version really gave me the chills/goosebumps. I can visually imagine an epic anime battle with Amaretsu. Those use of drums and trumpets was soo epic. My god.
It is so lovely and powerful. The theme of Celestial is such a nice surprise to add a soft grace before it get louder and more intense in second half. It is a bit short, though. Is it just it, all?
